Ink to Paper {The Joy of Card Making}

The festivities are continuing for the month of December at Ink to Paper! This week a few of us will be sharing "The Joy of Card Making"; today I'm sharing some tips and tricks for creating multiple cards to give as a set, or to keep for yourself!

As you know, my Christmas card stash has grown quite large, so I've been thinking ahead to the thank you cards I'll be needing AFTER Christmas! Sometimes it can seem overwhelming to get a large quantity of cards done, but with the tips and tricks I'll be sharing today, it can be done in a snap! I used the Deco Notes stamp set, which is the perfect choice for creating a card set like this. I chose to make all "thank you" cards, but you could switch out with some of the other sentiments to create an all-occasion card set.
I created 4 cards in this series, but honestly, I could have made quite a few more with minimal effort using the assembly line process. When I create card sets or multiples, I like to keep things simple, with the addition of a special detail to take it up a notch. For these cards, I chose to add gold poinsettia die cuts that I created using the Tag Creations: Modern Gift.
I've put together a series of photos that explain my step-by-step assembly line process.

The sentiments were stamped on a strip of the same color of cardstock as the focal panel using a MISTI and black ink.

I added a few sparkling clear sequins around the poinsettias for some added sparkle and shine.

I've added these to my small "Christmas thank you" stash! This was a fun card set to make and I hope I shared some useful tips for creating multiples! Thanks for fluttering by!
