Welcome to day 2 of the SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week! Today we're showcasing a super cute new set called For Pugs Sake and a fun SugarCuts collection called Envelope Liner. I used both of these on today's project! Make sure you scroll to the bottom of today's post so that you can hop along to see what the other designers have come up with!
To begin this card, I die cut a panel of white cardstock using one of the dies that is included in the Card Front Element Builder. Once that was done, I stamped the pug image using black ink. I used my Copic markers to color the image. I added some white dots to the pugs cheeks for whisker pores...is that a thing?? LOL! I also added some Crystal Glaze and glitter to the balloon for some extra detail.
Can you see the beautiful envelope peeking out from behind my card? Those will be sold beginning on Friday as well as the rest of the release! They are such beautiful envelopes!
I blended some blue ink around the stamped and colored panel and added some clouds with some Nuvo drop details. The hill is die cut using another one of the elements from Card Front Element Builder. I also heat embossed one of the punny sentiments included in the set in white onto a strip of red cardstock. The finishing touch is the "thanks" die cut sentiment that is from the new Envelope Liner SugarCuts collection. I also added the red polka dots to the inside of the envelope using the same collection.
And with that, here are the links to the other designers' blogs! Thanks for fluttering by!
