Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti! I LOVE all of the stamps and dies in today's showcase and I hope you do too! There are some amazing new products that we will be showcasing over the next few days so you won't want to miss each day of the countdown! First up is a sweet new set called Huggable that I am totally smitten with! I paired it with the Warm Hugs Confetti Cut, because they just look so darn cute together! I stamped the images using black ink and colored them using an assortment of alcohol markers.
I die cut them using the Huggable Confetti Cuts and set them aside. I heat embossed the "sending warm hugs to you" sentiment in white onto a red strip of cardstock.
I did some inkblending onto a panel of white cardstock that was die cut using the amazing new Stitched Bursts CoverPanel. I mentioned yesterday that you would be seeing a lot more! LOL!
The warm hugs was die cut three times and then glued together to create a chipboard weight piece. I added all of the elements to the die cut panel using liquid glue and foam squares. The small hearts have a coat of Crystal Glaze for some added detail.
My second card uses the same color combination with the addition of the green foliage, but the background and sentiment treatment are exactly the same. This new set is very "tweet' and is called Birdie Buddies.
I stamped and colored all of the images and then die cut them using Birdie Buddies Confetti Cuts and added them to the background panel using foam squares.
I added some Tinsel Glitter to the snow on the birdhouse for some realistic shine and detail. I also added some Sparkling Clear Sequins here and there for some added embellishment. The entire panel was added to a top folding A2 card base!
