Papertrey Ink June Release-Day 2

*Squeal* I'm so excited to be sharing my first project for the Papertrey Ink June release! I've been having so much fun using these new products! I can't wait to use all of them even more! You are going to die when you see everything....so adorable! They are absolutely perfect for all of your Summer projects! Today, I am sharing a few new stamps sets and dies called Text and Texture: Ocean, Reef Builder Dies, and Shape Shifters: Oval 2! These all pair perfectly with the Salt Air collection that was showcased yesterday! You can check it all out HERE

I will use affiliate links where possible, but the new products won't be available for purchase until June 15th. To begin, I stamped the ocean waves using my MISTI stamping tool for accurate alignment as well as their large size. I used Stormy Sea ink and Hawaiian Shores ink for the water which is stamped onto a white piece of cardstock. I also did some sponging for the sunrays using a scratch piece of paper and Harvest Gold ink. I just love how it looks radiating from the top of the water. I die cut the Oval twice and flip-flopped the top one for additional movement. I used foam squares to adhere them together! I love all of the possibilites with these Shape Shifters Dies.
The sentiment is from a set that was showcased yesterday called Salt Air sentiments. I am SO BEYOND  in love with that whole collection. I will be sharing lots of projects using them once the release is over and I get through my other assignments! LOL! Never enough time for all the stampy things! It is heat embossed in silver  powder onto an Aqua Mist sentiment strip.

Now for the funnest part....all of that underwater flora! These go nicely with the Salt Air: Flora stamp set, but these are JUST die cuts! I was able to die cut everything from white cardstock and then just do ink blending using ink to get all of the colors that I wanted. It didn't require me cutting out lots of different pieces in lots of different colors! They also provide a lot of texture to give even more detail!

I hope you're loving all of these new products as much as I am, because they are incredible!  Thanks for fluttering by!

Beautiful, Kelly!! This was my hope that Travelers Journal might be just the start with PTI and that you would expand to being creatively involved with their releases. Yay!!

Hi Kelly! (Me again!) So I did the same thing you did when I first saw the new underwater products! Squealed! I live on the Florida coast, not far from one of my loves in life. The ocean! Your design is breathtakingly gorgeous! Love how you flipped the oval shaper. And I didn't realize that some of the products were just dies. Do you find it difficult to ink blend small die cuts? I hope to see you in every release! THX so much Kelly! :)

Thank you so much, Stephanie! They're actually really easy to ink blend! It's just a matter of holding on to them and using directional motions, rather than back and forth so you don't bend the cardstock. I really appreciate all of your kind words!πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•
