You're my shining star!

It's Teacher Appreciation Week! I'll be taking a break from my Vintage Cherries collection this week to share the things I'm making for my kids' teachers.
I wish I could say that I am prepared and on top of everything, but that's not the case. I'm hosting a baby shower on Saturday, in charge of the gifts for the moms and teachers that have helped with the school play, helping to pop popcorn and sell concessions each night.
So... today's gift is super quick, but fits this year's theme and is something the teachers mentioned they liked on the information sheet they turned in. I bought movie gift cards and made some quick tags to attach.
The theme this year is "Space" and I thought a star tag would be fitting. I used "Star Prints" and "Up, up and Away" from PTI to create these quick tags.
I diecut the tags using grey paper and a "tag sale" die. The clouds from the "Up, up and away" set were stamped using white ink. The small stars were stamped in a random fashion in grey ink.
The star is heat embossed using silver embossing powder on grey paper for a monochromatic look. The other sentiments are stamped in black ink. I put the gift cards in flat Chevron print treat sacks. The tags were tied around the silver ribbon with blackbaker's twine. Super easy, but fun! Also, here's the bulletin board that I put together for one of my son's teacher.
Thanks for fluttering by!

Wow! You've definitely got a full plate. I'm sure you love it, but are ready for a bit of a break, too. Your stars/tags look amazing. You are very thoughtful and I'm sure your efforts are so very much appreciated. That door cover is amazing! Your school definitely goes all out to appreciate their wonderful teachers! Thanks for sharing and good luck making it through all your events! :)
