Reverse Confetti 7th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

I'm thrilled to be here today to help celebrate Reverse Confetti's SEVENTH birthday celebration blog hop! Congrats, Jen, on 7 amazing years! There is a fabulous blog hop in store for you today with tons of designers participating so get cozy and let's get this party started!

My first project for today uses the super fun new FREEBIE set called Friendly Rainbow! This is such a fun set that you're sure to reach for again and again! To begin this rainbow design, I used the AMAZING Stitched Rays Cover Panel Confetti Cut from a 4 by 5 1/4 inch panel of yellow cardstock. I added some in blending around the edges for added contrast using a blender brush.

I also die cut the fun and versatile Stitched Hex Tag Confetti Cut out of white cardstock and then heat embossed the "hello friend" rainbow image using white powder. I used whatever ink was left on each of my rainbow colored blender brushes for the emboss resist technique. I also stamped the "thinking of you" sentiment, which is also from the freebie set, in black ink. I added this piece to the stitched rays panel using foam squares. I then spritzed it with Shimmer Spray for some sparkle and shine.

I added the sun and cloud confetti cuts, which are die cut using the Over The Rainbow Confetti Cuts with some added ink blending around the edges. I also added some ink splatter to the clouds for some precipitation like detail.

I added some sparkling clear sequins here and there, tucking some underneath a cloud and the hex tag for some interest.

I applied an even coat of Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the "Hello Friend" sentiment and added just a tiny sprinkle or two of coarse crystal glitter. I had a lot of fun working on this colorful rainbow design...I just wish I would have made two!! ha ha!

My second card for today's hop uses the beautiful new Bowl of Blooms stamp set and coordinating Bowl of Blooms Confetti Cuts. To begin, I stamped the images using black ink and then colored them with an assortment of alcohol markers. I die cut them and set them aside to work on the other design elements.

I die cut both the Oh My Heart Cover Panel and the Stitched Note Frames Confetti Cuts and added some pink inkblending around the edges of the frame. I layered these onto a top folding card base using foam squares for a lot of dimension.

I also added the die cut images using additional foam squares. The sentiment, which is also from the Bowl of Blooms stamp set, is heat embossed in white onto a black strip of cardstock. I tucked it at the top using foam squares.

A few sparkling clear sequins finish off this pretty floral design! I hope you're enjoying the hop! The list of designers is incredible so I'm sure you're in for a real treat! I'll also be including some of my favorite projects I've made over the years using Reverse Confetti products!

Oh my gosh Kelly, I don't remember seeing you as a blonde! You look totally different! I prefer the darker hair but that is because my hair is almost black/purple! HE HE! You are beautiful with both hair colors!
I really love your cards! All of them, old and new! I think my fav is the one with the bowls of flowers from the new release! With the heart panel in the background and the wonderful stitched die framing it! The yellow rainbow card is so cheery! Always a pleasure to see your work! Hugs and cheers! (@lizzardsbf on IG)
