Hello, friends! Things are getting downright festive with the new Ink to Paper January release countdown and day 3 is no different! Today I have two projects to share with you using some of the fabulous new products! First up is a fun new die collection with a coordinating mini stamp set that is sure to delight you! It is called Sweet Celebrations and is just as sweet as can be! I created a strawberry themed birthday card, but the sky is the limit with this versatile new collection!
To begin this design,I got to work die cutting all of the cute details; leaves, flowers, berries, frosting, and cupcake liner.
I used the fabulous Pierced Feature Frames: Ovals to create a frame to nest all of the cute die cut details around and in. The sentiment, which is from the Sweet Celebrations mini stamp set, is stamped on the die cut label that is included in the collection.
I added some gold Nuvo drops to the centers of the flowers and here and there on the frame. I allowed those to dry before I added the crystal glitter to the die cut pieces!
A few sparkling clear sequins finish up this design!
Next up is a fun and cheerful design using the new On the Border: Sunburst Frame and the new Just Sentiments: Belated Birthday! I chose to dry emboss the frame for some variation.
Our weather has been slightly less sunny than this card {LOL} so I apologize for dreary pictures of such a cheery design! ha ha! This sentiment is so beautiful heat embossed in gold. I've been doing that a lot lately, but I love the result!
The clouds are die cut using the Swirling Clouds die and I love how they looked paired with the new balloons from the Balloon Wishes stamp set. I was tempted to give them the same glitter treatment from my card on day 1, but decided I wanted the gold sentiment to shine instead!
The main panel is created by doing some ink blending using Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink.
I've been a slacker with birthday cards lately, so this one will definitely come in handy! LOL! Thanks for fluttering by!
