Ink to Paper October Release Countdown Day 3

I can't believe we're halfway done with the October Ink to Paper release countdown!  Time is just FLYING by! All products will be available for purchase on October 15th at 10 PM ET! My first card for today uses an adorable new set called Sweet Scenes: Winter paired with a fabulous new background stamp called Holiday Spirit!

I had so much fun stamping all of the sweet images that I used for this scene; the mountains, forest, trees, deer and clouds! I also added a few leaves, sprigs and pinecones from the Framing Florals: Christmas stamp set that I used for this week's Flash Sale project!
I love the pine bough and pinecone images on the background stamp, so I thought it would be fun to bring that detail to life with the stamped pieces!

I heat embossed the background image onto a panel of Kraft cardstock and then added some Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the edges for some added depth and detail. I also did a row of machine stitching on the left hand corner for added texture.

If you're wondering if I'm covered head-to-toe in glitter with all of this holiday crafting, the answer is yes! LOL! I'm always leaving a little sparkle wherever I go! ha ha!

I layered the entire Kraft panel onto a top folding Simply Chartreuse A2 card base, adhereing the panel all the way to the right using foam squares.

I'm super excited about this next collection of products; Tent Style Packaging: Holiday House and the Holiday House stamps/dies! I just adore making treat packages of all kinds and these new products are just the CUTEST!

It comes with a door, a tree, bows {YAY} and wreaths and garlands! There's a little chimney stamp, window frame dies and two fabulous sentiments!

I knew I'd regret only making one, so I decided to make two, which really makes sense when you're using a stamp positioner!

I added some white paint splatter for a flurry of snow! I also added some red Nuvo drops for some berry details.

These will be absolutely perfect for packaging up the homemade caramels I make each Christmas! I think I'll have to spend an afternoon making an entire village so that I have enough to pass out to friends and family! Join me tomorrow for the 4th and final day of the countdown! Thanks for fluttering by!

What day is today, lol?, I’ve been at my sister’s helping her after surgery for a shoulder replacement. Poor sis, if it wasn’t painful enough, she was allergic to the pain meds. I just thought I’d throw in some good news to explain my on and off absence. It’s good to be home after 10 days but she & I have a ways to go. Speaking of home, you must be a happy crafter with all the new packaging this season. Your homes are so pretty Kelly, with all the fun details. I think I even saw on a Scrapbook site, mini lights for windows or trees etc. Enough chatter but I finally am catching up with your blog and always amazing projects! P. S. Is your caramel recipe for sale?

Thank you! You're the sweetest! Sounds like you've been selflessly serving your sister! I'm sorry to hear about the added struggles!😢😵😢😵 That doesn't sound fun at all! My recipe isn't for sale because it's not MY recipe, but the one I've been making for years. I think I posted it my first year blogging. I'll see if I can locate the post!👍
