The Greetery {Hippity-Hoppity Happy Easter}

It's STILL snowing, but that hasn't stopped me from bringing some Easter joy into my life! I mentioned in my last post that I would be working on creating a few more Easter cards for my stash. Since time is of the essence, I decided to use the ADORABLE Bunny Hop Stamp + Stencil! I'll be the first to admit that it's hard for me to make CAS cards, especially one layer, but I added a few sweet details to elevate the look.
I made three cards in total, but I only photographed 2; to begin, I used the Bunny Hop stencils to create the cute wreath. Once that bunnies, carrots, and flowers were stenciled, I used the coordinating Bunny Hop stamp set to add the foliage. Once the stenciling and stamping was done, I cut each panel to 4 by 5 1/4 inches.

I added the eyes and nose details using a fine-tip black pen. I added some white polka-dots to the pink bunnies using a white gel pen. I also added some white details to the leaves.

I used a coral colored Copic marker to add some detailing to each of the flowers. I used a colored pencil to add details to the carrots to make them appear more realistic. Once all of the details were added to the wreath, I sponged some Aqua Mist ink in the center and then stamped the sentiment that is included in the stamp set using black ink. Once that was done, I used the stencil that comes with the Bunny Hop Die to lay over the top to coverup the wreath so I could add more ink splatter to the panel without getting the bunnies inky!

As much as I love bunnies, chicks, eggs, and all of the secular things about Easter, I can't  neglect the true meaning so I decided to gussy up the envelopes with a sentiment from the Amen & Alleluia stamp set and stenciled using the Flappable Stencil. I layered the panels onto colored cardstock using foam squares for a bit of dimension. These were super fun to make! Thanks for fluttering by!

Kelly, you did a BEAUTIFUL JOB on your cards! I am like you, I like all the little bunnies & chicks & eggs, BUT the TRUE MEANING of Easter is SO IMPORTANT, & shouldn't be over-looked! I used The Greetery's Bunny on a card & added a sentiment inside, "Silly Rabbit, Easter is about Jesus!" KEEP UP the WONDERFUL WORK, I LOVE seeing your creations! ANNND, HAPPY EASTER TO YOU & YOURS! ;)<3
