The Greetery {Autumn Air Collection} Day 2

Welcome back for day 2 of full reveals for the new Autumn Air Collection from The Greetery! I have three new projects to share with you today using some products for Halloween and autumn! Make sure to head to The Greetery Blog for the "meet and greet" for each of today's featured products! Also, leave a comment here, and on each of the designers' blogs, for a chance to win one of two $50 gift certificates to the shop!
My first project for today uses the new Hey Honeycomb Halloween suite of products. I chose to feature the cute pumpkin with the orange honeycomb ball that's included in the new mix.

To begin this project, I started off by prepping the honeycomb pumpkin. I die cut all of the pieces for the pumpkin and then used the previously released Hey Honeycomb Basics Die for the flap that says "spooktacular surprise inside". That was stamped using the new Hey  Honeycomb Halloween stamp set. I glued it to the side of the orange honeycomb ball and then glued it to the base of the pumpkin using the sticky portion and additional liquid glue for stability.

I really love the texture that the pumpkin has, so rather than covering that up (even though it will EVENTUALLY be covered up with the honeycomb ball) I chose to stamp directly onto that portion and add the sticky star. I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets for the sticky part.

Here you can see how cute it looks with the ball open! I used the Spring Frame Hot Foil and gold foil on a panel of Canyon Clay cardstock. I strategically covered up the tulips using leaves from the To Pie For Die!

The Happy Halloween sentiment is from the Tear Strip Tags Halloween Stamp Set and then I cut it out using the Tear Strip Banners Die

My next project features the new Grateful Greetings stamp + stencil and die. I just finished reading The Funeral Ladies of Ellerie County and when I saw the Grateful Greetings stamp set, it totally reminded me of the cute cover of the book, so that was my inspiration!

I used Post-It Notes to cover up each letter as I inked them up in the different colors using finger daubers and distress oxide inks. I stenciled the shadow using the same color ink.

The stamp set also has the cute heart image and the cute floral cluster image. I picked the colors from the two letters that only were only represented once, pink and yellow, to stamp the heart and flowers.

I used the Fond of Foliage Background and antique linen distress oxide ink for the background. I added some ink splatter and stamped the companion portions of the sentiment.

My final card for today and for the release uses the new Hey Honeycomb spider but without the honeycomb ball. These products are designed to be used with our without and I just love that!

It looks like my spooky spider is trying to crash a Halloween party. I used the Pinwheel Party Die and Pinwheel Party Stencil in black and orange for a festive look!

I also hung some Twisted Crepe streamers to add to the festive look!

The spider die consists of three portions: the eyes, the top fuzzy piece for the spider, and then the full body with the legs. This gives you all kinds of options to make your spider and colorful and spooky as you'd like!

This concludes my projects for today and for the release! Everything will be available for purchase beginning tomorrow at 10 AM EDT! Thanks for fluttering by!

The Greetery {Autumn Air Collection} Day 1

Hello friends! Welcome to day 1 of full reveals for the Autumn Air Collection from The Greetery! I have three projects to share with you today using most of the products being showcased for day 1. You'll want to make sure to head to The Greetery Blog for the official "meet and greet" for each of the new products! Also, don't forget to leave a comment here, and on each of the designers' blogs, for a chance to win one of two $50 gift certificates to the shop!

My first card for today features the new Autumn Crest stamp/stencil, die paired with the new Crest No. 1 die! You'll also notice the new Pierced Plaid Plate that I used for the background on this card.

I went with a traditional autumnal color palette for my card and brought in a few pumpkins that were die cut using the Autumn Harvest die that was released last year.

I also tucked a few leaves here and there which are from the To Pie For Die.

You'll find lots of sentiments included in the stamp set, just perfect for all of your fall projects!

My second project for today features the beautiful new oakwood stamp + stencil and die. I chose to keep the colors as close to the ones shown on the guide because I think they are so beautiful.

The sentiments included in the stamp set are what inspired the calendar designs; I thought it would be fun to have one for Thanksgiving and the other for autumn!

All of the calendar products are from the last release that you can find HERE

I thought it might be tricky being able to highlight specific days AND use the Oakwood branch, but I was able to place them a little bit differently on each of the two cards and still be able to showcase the date.

I'm ready to say hello to autumn; how about you?

My final project for day 1 features the new Mum's the Word stamp + stencil and die. I also used a beautiful new sentiment set called Strength for Today! I know I will be reaching for this one often and I'm so excited for it!

There are coordinating dies for the sentiments, but I chose to stamp it directly onto the background.

The sentiment featured on this card is included in the Mum's the Word stamp set.

I really like how Betsy designed the detail stamps for ease of use. She has made it so you can stamp one corner and then you can flip it to stamp the other.

This concludes my post for day 1, but join me again tomorrow for all kinds of fun (and spooky) products! Thanks for fluttering by!

Papertrey Ink August Release Countdown Day 4

Hello and welcome to the fourth and final day of the Papertrey Ink August Release Countdown! I have two projects to share with you today and up first is the cutest new stamp/die set called Measured in Abundance! I just love this vintage scale brimming with autumnal goodness!

I'm on a Canyon Clay background kick, if you haven't noticed! ha ha! I'm equally obsessed with the Canyon Clay background paired with the new Fall Harvest Hot Foil Plate as you also may have noticed!

The new stamp set comes with two different sentiments that work nicely with the scale. I can't wait to see if the images from the Tiers of Cheer Stamp set will work size-wise to create a Christmas scene on top of the scale!

There are a few different accessories to style the items; a basket and a nest of raffia or Spanish moss, but I chose to just add the items directly on the scale's top platform.

I added glitter here and there for some sparkle and shine!

My final card for today AND for the release features the beautiful new cornucopia die set paired with the new Elegant Edges: Sunflower die.

I'm obsessed with all of the cute fillers for the cornucopia and can see myself using them outside of the cornucopia for all kinds of projects!

This card features the second sentiment included in the Measured in Abundance stamp set, but please note: the cornucopia die set also comes with a large sentiment that says "Many Blessings"!

I die cut all of the cornucopia pieces and fillers from white cardstock and then colored them using distress oxide inks and finger daubers and a blender brush (for the large cornucopia).

I love all of the beautiful detail that is built-in to the dies; adding color just enhances them even more!

Everything will be available for purchase beginning tomorrow night at 10 pm EDT! Thanks for fluttering by!

Papertrey Ink August Release Countdown Day 3

I can't believe we've made it to day 3 of Papertrey Ink August release countdown! My first card for today uses the new Into the Blooms: Acorn dies! They are seriously so cute, but I seem to ALWAYS love anything from the Into the Blooms product line!

For the background, I cut an A2 panel of Autumn Rose cardstock and blended some Scarlet Jewel ink in each of the four corners. Once that was done, I used the Fallen Leaves Hot Foil Plate and gold foil. I added it to a top-folding A2 white card base using liquid glue.

I used the Love to Layer:Decorative Bracket dies for the strip down the middle and the focal bracket.

I die cut all of the pieces from the acorn set and colored them using distress oxide inks and blender brushes. I chose to place the sentiment directly onto the largest acorn.

I used a brown marker and a color spritzing tool to add the brown flecks to the die cut pieces.

I had fun arranging the acorns, leaves, and berries using foam squares and liquid glue.

My second card for today uses the beautiful new Fall Harvest stamp/die set and the new Fall Harvest Hot Foil Plate.

I'm seriously in love with this new hot foil plate as you can probably tell....I'm using it again on one of tomorrow's cards! ha ha!

The new Fall Harvest stamp set comes with lots of different options; Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, and Fall Harvest. I chose to use the Into the Blooms: Sunflowers die rather than the stamped sunflowers that are included in the stamp set.

The background is Harvest Gold cardstock with Terracotta Tile ink around the edges. It almost makes it look like its glowing!

I really like the cute banner....once again, there are quite a few options, but of course I had to pick this one!

Join me again tomorrow for the 4th and final day of the countdown! Thanks for fluttering by!
