I {Heart} Dance!

Welcome to day #3 of my Valentine's series!

If there is a holiday approaching, you can guarantee that little miss Emma will be swinging a basket filled with goodies on her arm as she goes to dance!  I'm always thinking ahead, or at least trying! This year while I was Christmas shopping, Claire's was having a sale...all earrings $5 including the 20 multipack. My wheels were turning and quickly found a 20 pack with lots of Valentine-y type earrings. I knew they would make perfect dance gifts and with that price tag, I just couldn't resist.

I was hoping to be able to use them for both her Tap/Ballet/Jazz class as well as her Irish Step Dance class, but 3 pairs broke while I was pulling them off of the original card, so I won't have enough. I was able to get 13 done here as well as some left overs that Emma can add to her vast collection.  When I had originally purchased the earrings, I knew I would be making a card of some type to put them on, but when I was making my first card in my Valentines series, I knew that the Boutique Border: Love stamp set and die would be perfect for this project.

They looked so cute by themselves, but I knew I had to keep them a little more contained, so I packaged them up in small cellophane bags with a piece of patterned paper for some extra color and detail. I just tied it up with some sheer ribbon.

You can see a few of the varieties of earrings here and how cute they look. I hope the girls don't get picky about what they are getting and just grab one out of the basket.  I also searched through a lot of my stamp sets trying to find the perfect sentiment, but ended up just using one of my go-tos from "Heart Prints".

Here they are all ready to go. I also have some fun, yummy swirled heart suckers underneath, because who doesn't love Valentine-y treats!  Thanks for fluttering by!
