It's the day we've been waiting for; it's release day for the beautiful new Amour Market Collection from The Greetery! Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments the last few days! The collection will be available for purchase beginning at 10 am ET today! Before I dive in to the details of the card, I am doing a little giveaway! I’ve posted the details of the giveaway at the bottom of today’s post!
I wanted to create another card for today using the logo imagery for this release, but with different colors. I saved a cute Christmas house I was hoping to use as inspiration, but never got around to it, so I used it for this project instead. Quite a few of my daughter's Valentine's Day outfits when she was younger were these colors, so it reminds me of those days.
To begin this card, I cut all of the pieces for the buildings using the Market Place Mini Die using Pale Peony, Enchanted Evening, Pure Poppy, and Spring Rain. I did use silver cardstock for some of the window frames. I glued everything together with liquid glue and let it dry.
I had some of the wreaths leftover from my projects the other day, but I did cut more bows and a few other additions using the Market Place Lover's Lane Die. I also stamped one of the shop names from the Market Place Lover's Lane Stamp Set to add to the shops.
The sentiment is stamped using the French Kiss Stamp Set in Pure Poppy and a touch of Scarlet Jewel ink around the edges for an ombre look. I die cut it using the French Kiss Die.
The "with love" portion of the sentiment is also from that same set and is embossed in gold on a strip of Enchanted Evening cardstock. I used the new Shortbread Shapes Scalloped Hearts Die and embossing folder for the background and the frame around the buildings.
Before I added the frame over the top, I added some white gouache and glitter for a snowy, sugary look.
I added some red pearl embellishments to the bows and hearts for added detail.
The bow at the top is cut from Pure Poppy cardstock and is included with the Shortbread Shapes Scalloped Hearts Die.
I had so much fun putting this card together! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for fluttering by!
P.S. I mentioned yesterday I've been working on some sewing, so as soon as I get it all finished, I will share it here and on my sewing blog, so stay tuned!
P.S.S I’m doing a giveaway for my U.S. blog readers! I have a Capsule Basics Embossing Folder and two stamp sets I will be giving away. Simply comment with your favorite product from the new release and you will be entered to win. I will draw a name on Sunday! I know I have duplicates of a few other things that I will throw in the box if I find them before the deadline!😂

Kelly I love everything you’ve created with this release! It is all so beautiful- and very hard to pick just one favorite! I think one of my most favorites is the Diamond Hearts!
Kelly, your projects were amazing for this release! If I have to choose my favorite it would be the heart embossing folder and dies. So pretty!
Maybe because I like cookies my favorite is the Shortbread Shapes products.
Your card is LOVELY & such a LOVELY THOUGHT TOO, that it was inspired by your daughters little outfits when she was little. It's so hard when they grow up, isn't it? But, they grow up into Lovely Ladies! ;) Your card is BEAUTIFUL with all the detail! I am LOVING the thought of using the Shortbread Embossing Folder as a "frame" as you have done! It really just finishes the card off in a lovely way! My favorite? It would have to be the Coquette Hearts Embossing Folder & Die, & yes, I have to add the Shortbread Shapes Rectangle Embossing Folder too! LOL I can't pick just one! They are just LOVELY with all the detail! Thank you Kelly, for your generosity! ;)
Kelly, your projects for this release have been gorgeous! My favorite product would have to be the Market Place Lovers’ Lane die set. Love everything in the release, though!
So love your approach to finding seasonal variations to existing products! Favorite set this time is Market Place Lover’s Lane.
Kelly, your projects have always provided much inspiration! Including, for this release! I love everything but the first thing I saw was the red embossed heart from the Coquette Hearts embossing folder. It's at the top of my long list. : )
Wow! This card is gorgeous! It’s hard to choose a favorite from this beautiful release. I’m so excited about the Marketplace add ons and the Shortbread additions ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Aw, that's so sweet!! My favorite product is SO hard to choose, I truly love the whole suite this release! But to pick just one, I'd have the say the Shortbread Shapes scalloped heart folder (+die). Just loving your projects, Kelly!! I want to recreate your sewing card and your cute treat holders so badly!!
Hi Kelly,

I love all the embossed hearts. I love your designs Kelly!
Charming card! I am smitten by the Shortbread series and have decided I need to start that collection!
Love the colors you've used on this card. It is so very sweet. I always love the cards you create.
First off, what a treat to view your postings over the years, Kelly. Not only are your cards and other beautiful crafts unsurpassed for detail, style and craftmanship, but you are able to show your artwork off to a T with your lovely photography. Angle, lighting. . . . you nail it every time. Secondly, the Coquette hearts collection have won my heart. An enthusiastic follower, Loralee Parish
Love the beautiful blue you used on these. Really makes the reds and pinks pop and showcases these sets beautifully. Now I want to make them as the delft houses that the airlines give away!
Gorgeous card! Love the decorated buildings, and all the beautiful details on the card! I am in love with the Shortbread Shapes designs and in this release my favorite is the Rectangle Hearts embossing folder!
My favorite product from this release is the Scalloped Shortbread embossing folder, and also the die. Your work is so stunning!
Kelly,
It's truly a toss up between the embossed hearts and the shortbread. That said the simple sentiments can compliment any product. Betsy and The Greetery team never disappoint. Thank you all for the countless hours, creative collaboration and the amazing products and contributions.
