I'm popping in today to share a pair of cards for Papertrey Ink! This is one of my favorite stamp/die sets from last year so I was thrilled to bring it out again for today's project!
I made two cards using the beautiful Hear the Bells Stamp Set and the Diagonal Stripes Hot Foil Plate that was also released last year.
To begin, I cut all of the pieces TWICE using the Hear the Bells Die and then stamped them in festive, traditional colors.
For the background, I used Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil in Red for this card and for the pink card, I used Prismatic Aura Glimmer Hot Foil and the versatile Diagonal Stripes Hot Foil Plate. I used the highest heat setting and let it heat for 25 seconds.
I trimmed each panel down to 4 by 5 1/4 inches and then layered them onto top-folding A2 bases using foam squares.
I chose two of my favorite sentiments included in the stamp set and heat embossed them in gold; one on Pale Peony cardstock and one on Pure Poppy cardstock.
I arranged the bells and foliage and secured them with foam squares.
I layered the sentiments at the bottom using additional foam squares.
Each card got a generous spritzing of shimmer spray and a trio of sparkling clear sequins! Thanks for fluttering by!
