Hello, friends! I hope you're having a great start to the week! We have been enjoying absolutely gorgeous weather and I've got spring on the brain! My card for today was featured in the Papertrey Ink newsletter on Sunday, but I wanted to share it here as well.
This card was really fun to put together and uses some older and new favorites!
I'll share step-by-step instructions and photos throughout the post.
To begin, I cut a 4 by 5 1/4 inch panel of Blueberry Sky cardstock and gave it a generous splatter of white acrylic paint with a paintbrush. I also added some Fresh Snow ink around the edges for a soft, dreamy effect.
I layered it onto a top-folding A2 card base using liquid glue and then added the oval layers that are cut using the Love to Layer: Scalloped Ovals Die. The largest one is cut from white and the middle size is cut from Spring Rain cardstock. I adhered them to the background using foam squares for both layers.
I die cut the flowers using the Into the Blooms: Daisies Die from white cardstock and then used dye ink to color them. I added them to the card using foam squares.
Quite a few of my recent projects have included tiny envelopes, so I decided to continue the trend and added the envelopes from the With Love Die. I cut them from white cardstock and then added some Harvest Gold ink around the edges.
The sentiment, which is from the Tuck It Sentiments Stamp Set, is heat embossed in white on a strip of Blueberry Sky cardstock. I notched one end and trimmed the other one straight and added it over the top using foam squares.
Shimmer Spray and glitter finish off this cheery design!
Thanks for fluttering by!
