Sneak Peek #4

I was itching to use this Mama Mouse and more set, so I decided to make a baby card. I just love this mobile! This will be the last sneak peek until the Launch Tomorrow! I sat down and made a darling baby girl card, I was just finishing up and SMUDGE!!! right in the middle of the card. So...I decided to scrap it and make a baby boy card. I love this little baby mouse in the basket. This set comes with so many accessories, the possibilities are endless! I have really enjoyed seeing all of the creative ways the other design team members have used these sets. You can check out their creations on their blogs which are located on my sidebar under The Saltbox Studio logo. You won't want to miss seeing all of their fabulous creations! Also, stop by The Saltbox Studio blog to see more sneak peeks!!! Tomorrow is my son's Birthday so I will be posting my launch day design, but then I have a big family event for my son on Saturday, so things will be quiet until Sunday.

A Color Challenge

Yes...today's color challenge over at SCS was a real challenge. The colors for today were Real Red, Glorious Green and Night of Navy. I reached for my Garden Whimsy set, because I thought the tulip image would be perfect. The first of my red tulips bloomed yesterday, so I thought they would be fitting. I don't think my glorious green or night of navy markers have ever been used. They were so juicy and crisp. I just made a simple card for today, because I have quite a few things to get done today. Thanks for fluttering by!

Sneak Peek #3

Isn't this church birdhouse the cutest? I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I thought this sentiment worked nicely with it also. I used the fences set as well to give it a church yard "feel". My daughter saw me stamping the fence and asked if I was making a Halloween card. hello? NO!!! I hope this card doesn't give off a Halloween vibe, however, her saying that gets the wheels turning for future cards. LOL~! I am seriously loving all of the new sets and images from The Saltbox Studio. I can't seem to get enough. I have tons more ideas that I can't wait to share. I have also been enjoying seeing the darling creations from the rest of the team; so clever and creative!!!!

Sneak Peek #2

When I was growing up, my Grandma had a beautiful birdbath in her backyard. I was so thrilled to see a birdbath in the new set "Tweets" from The Saltbox Studio. I have had a lot of fun using it. I made a simple card today using one of the birds from this set as well. I love coloring these birds blue for some reason. Keep posted for more sneak peeks!! Check out the other design team members for some fabulous designs! You can find links to their blogs on my sidebar under The Saltbox Studio logo.

Window on my World

I was fortunate enough to have Stampin' Up! come to my home and photograph my creative space. I was thrilled and honored for them to come. Let me just tell you how stressed I was, too! Many of you have left me sweet comments or contacted me about my space. And no...it is not always that clean! LOL! I am going to start a new *series* on my blog that I mentioned in an earlier post. Some have wondered where the "rest" of my stuff is. No...this is not all of my stuff, but yes...it is the *stuff* that I use for my creations. So...with that in mind, I have decided that I will show you *a closer look*. That will be the name of my posts when I do them. I will most likely do those posts on Sunday. What these posts will entail will be a specific area of my space so that you can see how I organize so much stuff. While it doesn't look like there is alot, when you take *a closer look* you will see how much can be stored in a small area. I hope that this *series* will be beneficial to those who are seeking new organizational strategies. Please leave me your comments or if there is something you have a question about and I will try to address those in my posts! Thanks for fluttering by.

Think Spring: Sneak Peek

As I told you before, I have been having a lot of fun using the new images from The Saltbox Studio. I think on this card I may have had a little *too* much fun! LOL! I added a lot of different images from some of the new sets. I am really not one to make a *scene* (hee hee), but I had a lot of fun putting these images together. I used the fences set from the original release, but paired it with the new. I am so excited how well the old works with the new. I used 3 of the new sets; Tweets, Tweet houses, and Tweet Companion. I love birds and anything to do with them, so these images were right up my alley. I had so much fun working with them.

Keep posted for more new designs using these fabulous new sets!

Stamp Club Projects

I have been one busy woman! I have been stamping up a storm, but with super secret stuff! LOL! I am so excited for the new stamp release from The Saltbox Studio. I have been having so much fun with the new images. They are *so* me! I have gotten the green light to start the sneak peeks TOMORROW! yes...that's right! I have a fun card that I have been working on tonight that I will post tomorrow! Since I am out west, you are all gonna have to wait until I get my lazy bones outta bed. We have year round school and my son is off track, so I am taking advantage of sleeping in! LOL!
In the meantime, I will share the two projects that my stamp club did on Tuesday night. Now...disclaimer here...my scrapbook project was stamped a little wonky. I was in a super big hurry and I will have to fix it, but just look past it for now! LOL! I found these darling mini-albums at the Target Dollar Spot last fall. I didn't know which paper to use, but the green is *almost* wild wasabi, so when I saw East Coast Prep DS paper, I knew what to do! We will be making pages each month to add to the book using the same paper for continuity.
The second project is a criss-cross box (template created by Nichole Heady) that I got off of her blog. I used SU!'s new Summer picnic DS paper and Tart and Tangy! I love that collection!!!! Super cute!
Stamps: Tart and Tangy, Define your life
Paper: Bashful Blue, Real Red, Whisper White, Summer Picnic DS paper
Ink: Old Olive marker, real red marker
Accessories: Scallop punch, circle punches, dimensionals, real red striped grosgrain ribbon, 1/8 inch hole punch
Scrapbook supplies:
Stamps: Labelicious, Define your Life, Jumbo outline alphabet
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Whisper White
Paper: Whisper White, East Coast Prep DS paper
Accessories: Album from Target, Real Red 5/8 inch grosgrain ribbon, wild wasabi double stitched ribbon, Pumpkin pie striped grosgrain ribbon, stylized silver hodge podge hardware ( I told you I wasn't going to hoard it anymore) crop-a-dile, Designer Label Punch, Earth Elements Brads
