The Greetery Destination: Summer Countdown Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the Destination: Summer countdown from The Greetery! There is so much to fall in love with over the next 2 days! I hope you love it all as much as I do! I had so much fun creating all of the projects that I am sharing today! You can read all about the new products on The Greetery Blog where Betsy has her "Meet and Greet"! Also, there will be one winner of a 50 dollar gift certificate to The Greetery Shop picked from comments left on the designers' blogs. I will provide links to each of the designers at the bottom of today's post!

Up first are a few cards made using the new Budding Beauties Summer stamp/die set! This will complete the Budding Beauties series, which we've all fallen in love with! I chose to use the cool tones of purple and blue hydrangeas paired with the ever-popular Pinwheel Party

I used to decorate heavily with hydrangeas and they have a soft spot in my heart, especially these particular shades. For those of you who are interested, 99.9 % of the inks that I use on ALL of the projects made with this release are from Pinkfresh Studio

I heat embossed the fabulous Windowpane Plaid background stamp using white powder and then added some ink and ink splatter to create the soft background. I used 2 sizes of the Crimpoed Frames dies to create the white frame to add over the blended background using foam squares.

This set the stage to add in the pinwheels, hydrangeas and the stamped bottle from the Bottled Up stamp set. I created the label using the stamps from that set, but the new Budding Beauties Summer stamp set has a lot of new sentiments for the labels that I've used on a few other samples.

These bottles are so addictive; I just keep stamping and stamping them. They may seem intimidating at first, but with the help of a stamping tool like a MISTI, it makes creating these a breeze! I just leave each step in the MISTI and crank them out!

The Budding Beauties Summer stamp set is the perfect size and scale to use in both of the different bottles as well as the Just Mason Around stamp set

I added the pinwheels to the background using foam squares for dimension. I also added a few sparkling clear sequins here and there for some sparkle.

My next card uses both a bottle and the AMAZING must-have Sprinkled With Kindness stamp/die set! This watering can is simply amazing and will be accenting many projects to come! I stamped a whole rainbow of these, just waiting to be used on other projects!

The sentiment on the green bottle is from the Budding Beauties Summer stamp set and is just perfect for times like this! I wish I had that green bottle to put some blooms in right now!

I created two little vignettes on the smallest size of the Crimped Frame and layered them over a background that was created using the previously released Painterly Stripes background stamp. I stamped it once in one direction and then rotated it and stamped it again to get the lattice look.

I layered it all up onto an A2 card base using foam squares for added dimension. I used a white gel pen to give the centers of the hydrangeas and extra crisp look.

I tried to position the flowers in the watering can so that you could still see the handle. It's all just so cute, you hate to cover anything up! LOL!

For my next card using the Budding Beauties Summer stamp/die set, I chose to use all three of the different flower varieties. This one uses the peony, hydrangea and the daisies!

This vintage green watering can is probably one of my favorites that I stamped! I want one of these, too! ha ha! The blue bottle has stolen my heart as well!

There is also some of the new Petite Eucalyptus tucked in there as well. This is the perfect size to add to many of the stamped bouquets and I will be using it often! This particular set comes in a stamp/die combo with one price point.

The "Thank You" and "for being so kind" is from the new Sprinkled With Kindness stamp set, which is where the watering can is from. I used the Sentiment Suite Basics Die to die cut the "for being so kind" portion of the sentiment.

I'm positively giddy about this next collection of products! I am a HUGE peach lover so this is right up my alley in every way shape and form! The entire collection is just the cutest thing ever!

I created this little ensemble using the new Create-a-Crate die (this has SOOOOO many possibilities), the new Just Peachy Sentiments, Stamps, and dies.

As you can see, another vintage green watering can made its way onto this card as well! I just love the green against the peachy colors!

The peaches, blossoms, and leaves are all from the Just Peachy stamp/die set. The "Thanks for being such a Peach" sentiment is from the Just Peachy Sentiment stamp set.

For the tag, I stamped my favorite gingham tag from the Speed Tagging Christmas stamp set, using a beautiful coral color. I was able to squeeze the sentiments on as well as a cluster of peaches, blossom, and leaves! Of course a few sparkling clear sequins finish off this peachy tag.

I used the Windowpane Plaid background again for this card, but just stamped in in the center heavily and then added some ink blending and ink splatter.

I also added some of the Petite Eucalyptus in the watering can as well as a few of the peach leaves and blossoms! I added some of the beautiful peaches and peach slice to the bottom using foam squares. My mouth was literally watering while I was making all of these peach projects and I can't wait for the peach season in Utah...it is a thing of deliciousness!

I mounted the entire focal panel onto a top folding Berry Sorbet A2 cardbase using foam squares. The "thanks for being such a" portion of the sentiment is also added using foam squares for added dimension.

I struggle with photographing 3D objects, but you can see the super cute "You're a Peach" chalkboard on the end of the crate. This is included in the Create-a-Crate die collection and you can put anything on the end that fits in that frame. The small little peach on the end is from the Just Peachy Sentiment Stamp set.

The little drawstring muslin bag is filled with Haribo Peach candy that is sealed up in a cello bag. You can find the bag HERE. These are perfect to give a realistic flair to the crate. If you look closely at the side of the crate, you can see the woodgrain detail as well as the words "Market Fresh" and "Just for You". These are additional dies that are included in the Create-a-Crate die collection and they take this to the next level of detail and cuteness!

If you've fallen in love with the Print Shop collection like I have, then you're sure to love this next collection of products. This particular card was used creating the Print Shop Peachy Keen stamp/stencil combo! This is just like the floral one that has been previously released.

Once the entire panel was stenciled and stamped, and die cut using the Crimped Frames, I layered the leaf portion back over the panel and added the Nuvo Glimmer Paste over the top for some added detail and sparkle.

The new "Peachy" dies are the perfect accent to these panels because you don't have to cover them up! LOL! I used vellum for the shadow portion and Berry Sorbet cardstock for the "Peachy" piece. I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze over the top of the Peachy portion for some juicy shine!

As you can see, I'm loving the die cut sentiment strip with the Peachy sentiment set. It fits perfectly so I just kept going! LOL!

You can see the end of the crate a little bit better here. I did some sponging around the edges to give it a worn look.

I tied up the muslin bag with the tag and some jute twine. You can also see that I added some brads to the ends of the crate. It adds such a realistic touch! This concludes day 1 reveals! What caught your eye? Don't forget to leave a comment here and on the other designers' blogs to be eligible for a chance to win the $50 gift certificate!

Enjoy and thanks for fluttering by!
