SFYTT-Friends {24-7}

I have some exciting news to share! Jen asked me if I would like to join the "team" of designers who help with her SFYTT each Saturday! I was thrilled and of course said yes! Thanks, Jen! I usually participate each week as often as I can. I am usually a little late to the party with most "challenges" that are out there, but Jen's is one that I consistenly participate in and thoroughly enjoy! She always comes up with such creative and inspiring sketches!You can check this week's sketch out Here. So..without further adieu, I will get started with the deets of my card!

As I mentioned yesterday, my new SU! stamps, paper and accessories arrived yesterday. Can I just say *yummy*! I absolutely love all of the new things that I purchased. One of the new sets that arrived is Friends {24-7}. It was my first absolute must have of the catalog! I paired it with the coordinatin wheel "Friendly Words" and the new Bella Bleu DSP! The ribbon is one of the 3 designs from the "Valet" Collection. It is positively scrumptious! Some of the other new accessories being showcased on this card include the new "Galaxy Glitter", Button Latte, and the Eyelet Border Punch.

That is alot of new product to pack into one little 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch card, but I managed! LOL! I also added a half back pearl from the pretties kit and threaded the button with linen thread. The focal image was die cut with my Label 1 Nestabilities. I stamped the bird image using Walnut Stain Distress Ink.





Despite the amount of "things" on this card...it turned out how I had envisioned it...so I am happy! At one point I was ready to send the entire thing into the trash. But...I didn't give up! Thanks for fluttering by!
