Hello my dear friends! I’m popping in today to share a floral card before autumn creeps in! There’s something so fleeting about summer and I feel like I try and hold onto it as long as possible, which always proves it difficult in the paper crafting world because we’re always working a season ahead!
To begin, I die cut all of the pieces included with the Into the Blooms: Gardenia Die and colored them with dye inks and blender brushes. I also die cut the berry sprigs using the Into the Blooms: Anemones ; I love adding the pearls to act as the berries. I colored the flowers with Aqua Mist ink and then splattered them with Hawaiian Shores ink.
Next, I heat embossed the sentiment, which is the Reflections: Romans 8, onto vellum using gold powder. I heat set is and then cut it using the Reflections: Romans 8 Outline Die. I am thrilled about this outline Die because I had asked if they would consider offering something like this and they DID! I'm so happy! I love that I am able to use these scripture products with more versatility! I added it to the smallest shape included in the Reflections: Romans 8 Die that was cut from Ocean Tides cardstock.
I die cut the largest one as well, from white, and then used the Watercolor Wonderful Stencil Collection to add some color.
The background was created by die cutting a panel of Ocean Tides cardstock using the Cover Plate: Exquisite Die. I glued it to an Ocean Tides A2 panel using liquid glue. While that was drying, I cut a frame using the Border Bling: Skinny Embossed Frame Die and then glued it over the background.
I went ahead and added the flowers, leaves, and sprigs using foam squares and liquid glue. I love the cooling hues of this card; just perfect on a hot summer day! Thanks for fluttering by!

Gorgeous, gorgeous card! Love those elegant flowers. I really love how you used the Ocean Tides color - it's one of my favorite colors! Cindy H.
