Countdown to Confetti Day 3 {Blessed}

Well friends, it's the 3rd and final day of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti! Reverse Confetti Blog

My first project for today uses the adorable new stamp set called Joyous Holiday. I had so much fun creating this card! To begin, I did some ink blending on a panel of white cardstock measuring 4 by 5 1/4 inches using Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink. Once that was done, I gave it a good spritz of Shimmer Spray; this particular bottle is almost gone, and it gives clumpy sprays, but since I knew it did this, I picked it on purpose because it worked well for the look I was going for.

Once the blending was done, I used the new All The Stars Confetti Cuts to die cut the stars at the top! I am in love with it and have a feeling you all will be "seeing stars" for weeks to come! LOL!

Once that was done, I added the new Rounded Stitched Window Confetti Cuts die cut to the center of the card using foam squares. I mentioned yesterday that the inside portion reminded me of a headstone, but it also reminds me of a beautiful window, like stained glass! Anyway, I thought it would be the perfect backdrop for this cute angel! Doesn't she look sweet perched there with her pigeon toed stance? I stamped all of the images and die cut them using the new Joyous Holiday Confetti Cuts.

I die cut the Blessed word 3 times and glued them together using a 2-way glue pen. I added it to the bottom of the panel using liquid glue.

The "you are a blessing" sentiment is heat embossed in white and added over the wreath using foam squares. I love that this set isn't necessarily for Christmas as I have shown with this unexpected thank you card! I added a few sparkling clear sequins for some added shine!

My final project of the day uses the new Square Window Tag paired with the new Joys of the Season stamp set to create this set of Christmas gift tags.

I stamped all of the images and colored them using Copic markers and then die cut them using the Joys of the Season Confetti Cuts.

I love all of the possibilities that this new tag die presents; it can be used as a window or you can die cut the two pieces separately, like I did for these tags. You can really mix it up and try new things depending on your design needs!

Two of the tags use just the sentiment with some stamped accents, and two use the candy cane and holly image by themselves.

I tied them up with some red baker's twine to enhance the peppermint striped look and feel! I had so much fun working on these tags as well and I can't wait to see them dressing up my Christmas packages! Don't forget to pop back by tomorrow for the Blog Hop! Thanks for fluttering by!

Countdown to Confetti Day 2 {Trick or Treat}

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti! Today we're diving right into the "holiday" portion of this month's release starting off with a fun new Gnome Halloween set that you're sure to fall in love with! This card features the new set called Halloween Gnomes. If you saw last year's holiday set called Holiday Gnomes, then these will be a welcome addition to your collection. I think a few of the designers made their gnomes fall/halloween last year, so this was a natural choice, I think! LOL! I stamped ALL of the images, but only ended up using the ones you see here. I will save the others for a future project. I colored them using an assortment of alcohol markers. The background of today's card features the new This and That 6 by 6 pattern paper pad.

The new Rounded Stitched Window Confetti Cuts reminds me of a large headstone, so I chose to use it as the focal point of today's card as well as a place to add the Trick Or Treat Confetti Cuts. I die cut the word twice and glued it together using a 2 way glue pen and adhered it to the window. I added it to the focal panel using foam squares.

I die cut all of the colored images using the Holiday Gnomes Confetti Cuts and added them to the card using foam squares.

A few sparkling clear sequins finish off this festive design! My cute 5 year old asked if it was his Halloween card and if he could have it! I love that kid!

My second project for today uses a beautiful new fall set called With a Thankful Heart that you are sure to love! I used it to create these fall treat containers that will brighten anyone's day!

To begin, I stamped all of the images using black ink and then colored them using Copic markers! I originally started with an orange pumpkin, but then decided that I should try it in white, since I love them so much and they are so trendy right now! By leaving it white, it really lets the flowers pop! I die cut everything using the new With a Thankful Heart confetti cuts.

The sentiment, which is from the new Sentimentally Yours stamp set, is heat embossed in white onto a black strip of cardstock. The new "With a Thankful Heart" has a lot of neat sentiments as well, but I wanted to use these scripty ones for this particular project.

I added a strip of the new This and That pattern paper onto the Bitty Window Bag using ScorTape. Since it would be on a bendable surface,I wanted to make sure it would be secure. I added the die cut elements using foam squares.

Each bag is filled with chocolate covered raisins , but you could use any type of treat that you think the recipient would like.

I tied them up with some twine for some rustic detail! I had so much fun working on today's projects! I hope you'll join me for day 3 of the Countdown tomorrow! Thanks for fluttering by!

Countdown to Confetti Day 1 {I will always be here for you}

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti! This is the holiday release, so there will be a lot of fun and exciting new products to share with you over the next few days! Before I get started on the details of my project with you today, I want to share the links to the other designers' blogs so you can see how they have used today's featured products!

Today we are showcasing a beautiful new floral set called "Peony " paired with fun new brush stroke sentiment set called "Sentimentally Yours ". For my project today, I created a little box of encouragement/sympathy to give to someone going through a hard time or has had a loved one pass.

I included a few of the things that I felt would be helpful during a time like this; a handmade tissue cozy and tissues and a gift card holder for a restaurant.

This is one of my "go-to" box designs and is designed specifically to hold a set of cards, but it works perfectly for today's project. I cut two pieces of Mist cardstock; one measuring 8 1/2 by 10 and scored at the two inch mark on all four sides. I cut the corners to create the "tabs" to assemble the bottom of the box. The top measures 7 1/8 by 8 5/8 inches and then scored at 1 1/4 inches on all four sides. Cut these the same as you do for the top and use ScorTape to assemble them.

You can see the "tabs" on the inside of the box in this photo, which is helpful for assembly. The top of the box is really just a card attached using foam squares, so if you're not into boxes, you could use this same design for any card, just switching out the sentiment for your needs. I used the new Stitched Circles Cover Panel and adhered it to a piece of white cardstock using liquid glue.

I stamped the images from the "Peony" set in black and then colored them with Copic markers and die cut them using the coordinating "Peony " Confetti Cuts. The sentiment,which is from the new "Sentimentally Yours", is heat embossed in white to really make it pop! All of the flowers and leaves are adhered to the new Rounded Stitched Window ,which I am in love with!

I made a tag to attach to the tissue cozy using the same products as the box. I added a few sparkling clear sequins for sparkle and shine.

It fits perfectly inside the box, with room to spare!

After my MIL passed away earlier this year, we found that the gift cards that were gifted to us for meals were very helpful, so I have been including those in with my sympathy cards too! I decided to create a coordinating gift card holder to tuck inside the box.

I used yet another sentiment from the new set. The three I picked all worked so nicely together to cheer and uplift! The white square I used is the center portion from the new Square Window Tag . It worked perfectly for me to add some of the leaves and flowers here and there.
