I'm so excited for Day 3 of the SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week for the Holiday Product Release! Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments; I love reading each and every one of them! Don't forget to leave a comment today as well for a chance to win one of the prizes! You'll want to head to the SugarPea Designs Blog to read all of the official rules, etc!
As I mentioned on day 1, I colored all of the images and gnomes included in the new Gnome For Christmas stamp set and have been having a lot of fun incorporating them on different projects I'll be sharing this week! I've been waiting patiently ever since the You're My Type stamp set was released to use the "Dear Santa" and "Merry Christmas" sentiments that are included in the set. Who knew that this little gnome would be positioned just perfectly to be holding this typed note?!?
I also got a chance to use the new Falling Snow Stencil that was showcased yesterday! I used Aqua ink and then stamped the "oh so jolly" sentiment, which is from the new Oh So Jolly Sentiments, in black using my mini MISTI.
I added the typewriter to the bottom and then added the gnome on top! I think he looks adorable perched there handing off his typed note!
I added a few sparkling clear sequins here and then and then added the stamped panel onto the red cardbase at an angle for some whimsy!
Up next is a simple design, but I love how it turned out. I'm not always a simple girl, but for this release, I really love the clean, but cute look that can be achieved with all of these fabulous products!
I used the new Buffalo Check Background stamp to stamp the main panel in grey! I found that if you don't get a perfect, saturated impression, the more it looks like fabric, which I love! I intended to stamp this multiple times in my MISTI, but found that I liked the look after just a few applications. It looks like soft flannel to me!
The sentiment is also from the new Oh So Jolly sentiments and is stamped in black onto the plaid background. I die cut the Christmas Car SugarCuts and assembled it on the cardfront using foam squares and liquid glue.
This finishes up day 3; join me tomorrow for day 4! Thanks for fluttering by!
be careful not to spill the coffee on the keys. Way cute! Good job!

Oh my, the gnome card is just the most fabulous design and oh so adorable! And I love the VW card, too; such a perfect sized car for a card.
ReplyDeleteI like the gnome-y writing a note-y to Santa-y! How fun and creative! The gnomes really are versatile and I am glad to see them used in different settings like this----very inspirational-y!
ReplyDeleteThe VW card is great too! I used to drive one and I had to tie my tree to the top after thinking I could put it in the back! Ha ha. It was a small tree, so I thought why not! Thanks for the great memory! Great cards, truly great!
The VW is too cute... can you believe they are not going to make them anymore! A perfect reason to buy this one....
