Ink to Paper September Release Day 1

Welcome to day 1 of the Ink to Paper September release! This release is full of holiday goodness with some other "all-occasion" products as well! I'm thrilled to be starting off day 1 by sharing with you the new "Tag Creations: Modern Gift" paired with this month's Just Sentiments called "Be Merry"! Everything will be available for purchase starting at 10 PM EST on September 15th~

This new gift card holder might just be my new favorite! I didn't show it open, but it has built in slots for the gift card to slide in. It also has a hole for some twine or ribbon so you can attach it to a gift, but I love that it doesn't show when it is closed, like I have shown here! There are a ton of different dies to add bows, tags, foliage, and more! For me, this is definitely one of the "must haves" of this release; and it's only day 1! LOL!

As you can see, I made 4 gift card holders; two in Ocean Tides and two in Scarlet Jewel. I wanted a twist on the traditional red and green! I die cut the gift card holder base and then got to work on the other elements. The tags, which are included in the die set, are stamped/embossed using the new Just Sentiments: Be Merry stamp set. These are all sized perfectly to fit on the tags.
The poinsettia die cuts are stacked together using foam squares for a lot of dimension. The cardstock colors I used are: Saffron Spice for the poinsettia centers, Scarlet Jewel for the poinsettias, Rustic White for the poinsettias, Pinefeather for the pine boughs, Simply Chartreuse for the leafy sprig and Scarlet Jewel for the berry branch.
Once I had all of the die cuts arranged and glued to the gift card holders, I added some white paint flecks over the top for a festive snowy look. The tags are tucked here and there using foam squares as well. I can't wait to use these this upcoming holiday season! They will come in so handy!

Next up is the new stamp set in the "Simply Sweet" series called "Simply Sweet: Blessed". I love the sunflowers that are included in this set and are so perfect for this time of year! I used some of the die cut elements from last month's release on this design.

To begin, I got to work die cutting and stamping all of the elements I needed for the sunflowers; stems, flowers, leaves, centers. After those were all done, I made the label/tag using the new Tagged and Labeled Die die cut from Kraft cardstock. I used my mini MISTI to stamp the sentiment and get it aligned properly.

I used a portion of the new Tent Style Packaging die to die cut the True Black: Bitty Big pattern paper . I added the label to that and used some Rustic Jute Button Twine to wrap around it and secured it in a bow by threading it through a True Black Button. Once that was done, I added the entire piece to a piece of Green Parakeet cardstock that has been die cut using the Nesting Basic Pierced Rectangles

The sunflowers and leaves were added here and there using foam squares. I added some dew drops to the centers of a few of the flowers using liquid glue. I popped the entire focal panel onto a standard A2 card base using foam squares. This is it for day 1; join me again tomorrow for day 2! Thanks for fluttering by!
