The Greetery Leaf and Blade Collection Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of full reveals for The Greetery's Leaf and Blade collection! Thank you for all of your kind comments on yesterday's post! I always love reading what projects you like best! I have three projects to share with you today and then everything will be available for purchase tomorrow morning at 10 am ET! All of the product information can be found on The Greetery Blog! Leave a comment here and on each designers' blog for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to the shop!

I've really warmed things up with traditional autumn tones for all three of my projects today! This first card uses the new Rustic Wreath dies and coordinating stamp set with a few bits and pieces from the new collection!

The new Rustic Wreath is similar in concept as the previously released Boxwood Heart t. There is a fabulous assembly guide that is included in the purchase of these dies and helps you to assemble it properly. I die cut all of the pieces from white cardstock and then colored the branches using Distress Oxide ink. Once that was done, I used liquid glue to assemble the wreath.

The lone wreath has so many possibilities for embellishments, and for today, I chose to use a few bits and pieces left over from yesterday's cards AND a few from my next card which you will see below.

I decided to fully embrace the rustic charm of the wreath and created a Shiplap background with the sentiment stamped directly to the "boards".

The "give", "thanks", and "with a grateful heart" are all single stamps and the sentiments included in the wreath set all work together to create quite a few different sayings, just perfect for the autumn season/holidays.

I also added some white ink splatter to the card to give it even more interest and visual movement. A touch of glitter to the wreath embellishments finish off this rustic design!

If you fell in love with the Curio Collection from the Capturing Summer release, then you're in for a real treat! Betsy has designed these Autumn findings that are perfect to create autumn curio cards!

I've been wanting to try stamping a large sentiment on the acetate used as the "door window" on a curio card for a while now. The new Everyday Labels stamp set that was released last month is the perfect size and style to add to this card. I used black StazOn ink to make certain that it wouldn't smudge or smear on the acetate.

I had originally imagined it in white, but realized that the white background wouldn't allow it to be seen. I would love to try a dark grey or black background with the white ink and see how that would look!

These are such fun cards to create! I adore the leaves, nuts, and acorns that are included in this collection. As you can see, these are the bits and bobs that I dressed up the wreath on my previous card.

My Distress Oxide inks really got a workout for this release! I had so much fun inking everything up in these gorgeous autumn tones!

My third and final card for today and the release uses a fabulous new suite of products. The foiled leaves are part of the Fall Foliage set. There is a coordinating stamp set, which is where the sentiment is from. There is a coordinating Autumn word die, that I used here, AND a twin hot foil plate that works with the shadow die.

I created a cluster of wheat using the BotaniCuts Wheat dies that were showcased yesterday and then I added in the hot foiled leaves.

I created a dramatic plaid background using the Tartan Builder Diagonal Stencil. I just love plaids, tweeds, flannels and such for fall and felt like it would be fun to create something cozy and fun for this card!

Once the plaid background was complete, I added a light coat of ink over the entire panel. I then added even more drama by adding a deeper shade to the corners. I love how it turned out!

I had so much fun creating the cards for today! Don't forget that everything will be available for purchase tomorrow at 10 am ET! Don't forget to head to the other designers' blogs to see their fabulous creations! Thanks for fluttering by!
