Well friends, the new Reverse Confetti release is available for purchase and we're celebrating with a fun blog hop showcasing all of the new products!
For today's card, I used The Best Days stamp set for the focal image; I stamped it in black ink and then colored it with an assortment of Copic markers. Once that was finished, I die cut it using the The Best Days Confetti Cuts. I tied a bow of jute button twine around the bouquet for some added detail and texture.
The background was created by layering a piece of white cardstock that was die cut using the Snow Stars Cover Panel over a 4 1/4 inch by 5 1/2 inch piece of Rose Cardstock using foam squares. I also added a strip of the bias gingham pattern paper from the new Winter Wonder 6 by 6 pattern paper pad near the bottom using Tombow adhesive. Once that was done, I added a Grid Stitched Tag that is die cut from the same Rose cardstock using foam squares.
This set the stage for me to begin adding in some fun die cut and stamped details, including the bouquet I'd colored earlier. I die cut the "hello" word using the Thanks & Hello Word Confetti Cut three times and glued them together with liquid glue. I also added a layer of Crystal Glaze over the top and some coarse glitter to the top part for some added detail and shine.
The sentiment, which is from The Best Days stamp set as well, is heat embossed in silver onto a black sentiment strip. I attached it to the tag using foam squares. The "hello" is adhered using foam squares and liquid glue.
I used a Wink of Stella brush to add some shine to the bouquet. A few sparkling clear sequins finish off this floral design. I layered the entire card front to a standard top folding A2 card base. Thanks for fluttering by!
this is GORGEOUS.
