It's always a good day when I'm making tags for the awesome 25 Days of Christmas Tags even that the amazing Tracey McNeely puts on each year! I've been participating for the last few years and it is ALWAYS SO MUCH FUN! Reverse Confetti is today's sponsor so of course that meant I got a chance to play along! It's perfect timing, too, because I was able to use lots of the new release goodies that are available for purchase today!
These mice from the new Huggable stamp set are just the cutest thing ever; not a creature was stirring except for sweet mice! LOL! To begin, I die cut three tags from Salsa Cardstock using the new Circle Tag. Once that was done, I used the new Stitched Bursts Cover Panel to add the extra detail. This is one of my absolute new favorites from the release and I can see myself using more than I probably should! ha ha!
I used some of the fabulous foliage from the Joys of the Season stamp set to adorn the top of each tag using foam squares. The sentiment, which is from the Joyous Holiday stamp set, is heat embossed in silver onto strips of black cardstock. I bought some black foam squares from SU! and they are game changers, I tell ya!
The sweet mice are added to the bottom as well as a few tiny hearts. I added some coarse glitter to the foliage and the top of the large heart on the single mouse. I added a length of black baker's twine to each tag so they are ready to go! I had so much fun working on these tags! Thanks for fluttering by!
This huggable set is my fav! TOO CUTE!
