Papertrey Ink August Release Day 4

Hello friends! It's the 4th and final day of the Papertrey Ink August release countdown! I hope you've enjoyed the past few days and are looking forward to autumn cards and projects! I have a few cards to share with you today using the new Fall Blessings Stamp Set. I just love the banner and all of the cute images that are included in this set, with the die cut wreath as the backdrop!

I die cut all of the pieces included in the Fall Blessings Die a few times from white cardstock and then stamped them all out using a variety of colors.

Please note: I didn't use the base stamp layer for the pumpkins or the banner; I didn't want the white edge and I really like how it turned out. I simply added the main color using blender brushes and then went in with the detail stamp for both the pumpkins and the banner.

There is a THANKFUL sentiment and then two companion sentiments; I chose to use "for all of life's little blessings" for this particular card.

For the background, I die cut the frame using the Reflections: John 1 Die from white cardstock and then layered it over an A2 panel of plaid pattern paper from my stash using foam squares.

I glued the background wreath in place using liquid glue and then had fun arranging the elements.

I added the companion sentiment using a tiny strip of foam tape and strategically placed liquid glue. The bow was cut from pattern paper using the Wrap-it Ribbons Die and then secured at the top of the card using foam squares. The entire background is glued to a top-folding A2 card base.
My next card also uses the Fall Blessings Stamp Set, but with a cute new addition. I just love squirrels and acorns in fall decorating and cards! I also used the Into the Blooms: Above Ground Die to give this card a unique feel and different than the first.
This banner is colored using Berry Sorbet ink which plays off the pattern paper nicely. I had this particular paper pad out a few weeks ago for a summer project I was working on (I didn't post it) and I fell in love with this particular plaid paper. I was thinking it would probably need to wait until next summer because I didn't have any more summer projects planned, but it worked out so nicely for this autumn card as well!
I used another one of the patterns included in the pad for the frame.
I stamped the squirrel but then also added some alcohol marker shading to help him look a little more life-like. He looks like he's been caught somewhere where he shouldn't be! ha ha!
I did add in some of the flowers included in the Above Ground Die as well to give it some extra detail.
For this card, I used the other sentiment to finish off the phrase.

I really like the new Love to Layer: Elegant Points Die because it is a nice size, just perfect for building a scene like this!

My last card for today features the latest in the Reflections series. I really wanted to incorporate the new Cover Plate. I die cut it twice from white cardstock and glued them together. I wanted to add some ink blending and knew the leaves might tear. Once it was dry, I used blender brushes and dye ink to add the different shades of green.
I used the outline die for the scripture verse and then stamped it in black. I used the largest die included in the coordinating die set to cut the piece of vellum.
I layered them together using foam squares and then added it to the leafy background. I die cut quite few flowers using the Into the Blooms: Dahlia Die and then colored them with blender brushes and ink. I layered them together using foam squares for maximum dimension.
I had some foliage left over from my last card, so I tucked it here and there for something different. I didn't want any leaves that are similar to the cover plate, and these sprigs were the perfect fit! This concludes today's post and the last post of the release! Everything will be available for purchase tomorrow! Thanks for fluttering by!
