Papertrey Ink June Release Countdown Day 4

Hello and welcome to the 4th and final day of the Papertrey Ink June release countdown! Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM EDT tomorrow! My first project for today features the new Breathtaking Blooms paired with the new Love to Layer: Arches dies.

I mentioned a few days ago that I am needing wedding cards so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get one made! The Breathtaking Blooms stamp set is perfect for wedding season AND the new Fantastic Front: Scalloped Frame also includes the 'congrats' die, so it's perfect!

I snuck in one of the sentiments from the previously released You are Loved stamp set and stamped it directly onto the largest bloom in the new Breathtaking Blooms stamp set.

I die cut the 'congrats' word twice from white cardstock and once from gold glitter cardstock and glued them together for a sturdy piece. I simply adhered the edge of the C and the edge of the S to the arch using liquid glue.
My final card for today uses the adorable new Go-To Gift Card  Holder die paired with a few other things that have been showcased over the last four days.

I used a piece of washi tape to hold the diaper bag closed for pictures, but if you open the front, you can slip a gift card down inside (there are two slits for guides).

When I was buying the baby outfits I shared in yesterday's post, I ALMOST bought a Carter's gift card when I was shopping and now I'm kicking myself that I didn't because it would have been perfect to tuck inside!
Thanks for fluttering by!

Papertrey Ink June Release Countdown Day 3

It's day 3 of the Papertrey Ink June release countdown! I'm sharing three projects using the new Soak Up the Fun stamp/die set and my last card features the new Baby Elephant stamp/die set.

This is such a fun summer set; it includes three sentiments and all of the images you need to create a fun summer scene!

I had a few flowers left over from yesterday's arch card so I added a few of those for some extra detail!

I used the Watercolor Wonderful Stencil Collection for the background to enhance the 'splash' theme! I used both a green and brown marker to give the palm trees the two-toned look; the stamp is just solid so I wanted something more realistic. I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the swim goggles.

My second card for today is a shaker card; you can see the shaking bits better in the remainder of the photos, but I wanted to s how it how it looks just resting.

I used some Bitty Big: Pale Peony paper as the backdrop for the shaking sequins for added detail.

The new Fantastic Front: Scalloped Frame die is the perfect choice for a quick and easy shaker card! If you know me, you know I struggle with shaker cards, but this one was easy-peasy!

I used a few more of the leftover flowers from my wreath card for this card as well.

I used another one of the sentiments; the die set comes with dies for the sentiments so I added it over the top of the acetate using foam squares.

My third card using the Soak Up the Fun set uses the previously released Through the Palms Hot Foil Plate. I created a quick blended panel using pinks/purple ink for a sunset type look.

It used the highest heat setting and let it heat for 25 seconds and I got a nearly perfect result!

I added the water portion and the floatie at the bottom of the scene and added  few more details.

You can really see the shine of the foiling in this photo!

I added some glitter and sequins for even more sparkle and shine!

I have zero baby boy cards on hand and I have a baby gift to deliver! I took a picture with the outfits I bought in the background; this photo shows the shorts and shirt outfit which I tried to match the card to.

The outfits are jungle-themed so the new Baby Elephant set is perfect!

You can see the cute sleeper in the background of this picture. I chose to use Honey Nut cardstock with Platinum foil using the Tropical Frond Hot Foil Plate for the background. I stamped the elements from the Baby Elephant set and then mounted it on an arch that was die cut using the new Love to Layer: Arch dies with the new Baby Clouds stencil.

I did stamp pink on the ears because it just seemed like the right thing to do, but I hope it's not too girly! ha ha! Thanks for fltutering by!

Papertrey Ink June Release Countdown Day 2

Welcome back for day 2 of the Papertrey Ink June release countdown! I have two projects to share with you today using some fun new products!

My first project uses a new stamp/die set called Elegant Arches. I used it as the anchor for the focal point and I used the cute vines to accent the corners.

I used the previously released Into the Blooms: Wreath as the focal point to add to the center of the arch.

There are three sentiments included in the set and I chose 'thinking of you' because it can be used for all kinds of different occasions.

There are coordinating dies for the sentiments, but I chose to just stamp it on a strip of Lemon Tart cardstock and trim the end.

I did tone-on-tone stamping for the little vines on each of the four corners, but there are coordinating dies for each of those, too!

My second card for today uses the new Reflections: June stamp/die set.

I also used the new Fantastic Front: Scalloped Frame die.

I got all of my pots planted and I have a few varieties of geraniums, so I was in the mood to add the paper version to this card! haha!

I added some white acrylic paint splatter over the top.

I really like this particular scripture. I stamped it in black for a bold look against the stark white! The letters are distressed at the top for some added contrast. I didn't want you to think I neglected to get a good impression! ha ha!

I added glitter to the flowers and a trio of sparkling clear sequins for some shine! Thanks for fluttering by!

Papertrey Ink June Countdown Day 1

June is just flying by and we've landed on day 1 of the Papertrey Ink June release countdown!  My first card for today feature the Pro Stamper's Box: June....it is packed with all kinds of fun things to create summer cards and projects!

I was going for an Atlantic Ocean looking vibe; more Nantucket and less tropical, so I used a simple color combination to keep things cohesive.

I love this beach umbrella and all of the fun beach accessories to bring this scene to life!

I also used the Sun and Surf Stencil Collection for the sun. I used one of the sentiments included in the set to accentuate the sunny feeling!

The box also includes these fabulous large sized flip flop dies so I made a gift tag for my friend's birthday gift!

The background is actually a darling beach bag that I am giving her filled with all kinds of summer necessities and other fun things so I made a tag using these cute flip flops included n the Pro Stamper's Box: June. The sentiment is also from the box!

Up next is a fun grouping of products; I used the new A Little Ice Cream stamp./die set paired with the new Cozy Café Frame die.

I thought it would be fun to pair it with the awning from the Frozen Delights die to give it a true ice-cream shop feel!

For the background I used the Brick Wall Stencil Collection on a panel of Mint Julep cardstock and Mint Julep ink.

There are two sizes of ice-cream cones: one cake cone and one sugar cone. There are a few different topping options to customize each cone!

The A Little Ice-Cream stamp set comes with a sentiment, but I chose to use this particular one from the Feathered Friends Mini 3 stamp set because I thought it would be perfect for this 'sweet' card! Thanks for fluttering by!

Project Inspiration (Happiest Birthday Wishes}

It's my turn for this week's  Project Inspiration from Papertrey Ink! It was shared in the newsletter, but I also like to post it here so I can give a more detailed description of how I made it! My birthday card stash has been suffering, so I have placed a higher emphasis on using birthday sentiments when I made certain cards and I took this opportunity to add to the stash! That being said, I went to a bridal shower today and I'm down to my last few cards! Looks like I know what I need to work on next!

I had fun pairing the awning from the new Frozen Delights die collection with the beautiful blooms from the Always in Bloom stamp set!

To begin, I die cut all of the pieces twice, but didn't end up by using that many....I did make a second card, though!

I stamped all of the images is fun, summery colors!

I used the Cascading Dots Hot Foil Plate and then die cut the awning from the Frozen Delights Die using Bitty Big: Aqua Mist paper.

The sentiments are from the Birthday Your Way II. I wanted to keep it seamless so I stamped the large sentiment on the same pink as the background. The accent sentiment is heat embossed in gold to tie in the foiled background.

I adhered the flowers to the top using foam  squares and then added glitter to the blooms.

I was going for a flower shop vibe!

I tucked a few leaves around the sentiment. This will be a fun summer birthday card! Thanks for fluttering by!
