Hello friends! Welcome to day 2 of The Greetery one year birthday celebration! Everything being showcased today just oozes a festive spirit and I can't wait to share with you what I have made using these wonderful new products! Just like yesterday, there will be TWO winners of a $50 gift certificate that will be chosen from the comments you leave on the designers' blogs!

Guests:
Up first is a fun collection of products that I used to create everything you see here! Betsy has completely outdone herself with the adorable Cake Pops collection! I had so much fun working on a card, tag, two cake stands and this treat container cake!
I mean, c'mon! Really? So much fun! To begin, I got to work making both a pink and aqua cake stand using the new Cake Pops Stand die collection. These are super easy to make and you'll have a whole collection in no time! They are perfect to hold the treat container cakes, but they can also be used in so many other ways. They are the perfect size to hold a real cupcake, a few Macarons, Petit fours, etc. I can't wait to incorporate these into my entertaining and party plans!
I gussied up my cake using the Cake Pops Banner and the Cake Pops Sentiment stamp set! I had so much fun doing ink blending on each of the pieces to give them that "fresh from the bakery" look! I also used the new Cake Pops Number Candles dies to add the number 3 candle to the top.
I used the previously released Tear Away Circle Die for the bottom of the cake so that the recipient can easily access the goodies without damaging the cute cake. I added sequins and glitter here and there for some celebratory sparkle!
I filled this cake up with pink jellybeans, but there are so many colorful treats that would work well in this deep plastic bubble.
For those of you who may not like 3D projects, these products work perfectly for cards and tags as well! I used the Cake Pops Stand, Cake Pop, Cake Pops Banner, and the Cake Pops Sentiment stamp set to create this card. I also included the Ticker Tape Background stamp that was showcased yesterday as well as the Twisted Crepe die collection!
The outer scallop portion is the top piece of the Cake Stand and then the base of the Cake Pops is added over the top using foam squares. From there I just had a ball adding flowers, candles, sequins and more to make this card feel like a celebration!
The Cake Pops Sentiments stamps have so many fun sentiments so they aren't JUST for birthdays, which I love!
I plan on gifting the cake as a little porch drop off, so I knew I would be putting the entire thing in a cello bag. I wanted the outside to be as festive as the inside, so I created a coordinating tag using the Speed Tagging Christmas stamp set and Speed Tagging die. I added all of the fun details that I used on the cake onto the tag for a cohesive look.
You can see the fun details of the candle in this photo; it really looks like the number candles you can buy at the store!
My final project for the day and the release uses the new Party Pinwheel dies and stencils! This is such a fun collection of products and I can't wait to use it some more!
Betsy really thought of everything when designing these products. The stencil collection is amazing and will allow you to create colorful cards in no time and with ease. I chose to use the Party Pinwheel dies to create my card, but you can create the same layout by using the stencils.
I used the single stencils for each of the three sizes of pinwheels on each individual die cut. This allowed me to get a lot of dimension on my card, which I love!
I used the coordinating Pinwheel Party stamp set for the "let's party" and the other sentiment for the front of the card. I also added in the blue and pink "sparkle" images here and there.
A few glitter stars are added here and there for some added detail and interest!
I had so much fun working on this entire release and I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have! Make sure to leave a comment for a chance to win one of the $50 gift certificates! Everything will go live in The Greetery shop on Friday at 10 am EDT. Thanks for fluttering by!
