Hello, friends! I'm so excited to be participating in the November "MFT and Friends" for the incredible November release, which is available for purchase NOW! I have 2 cards to share with you using lots of the new products, but I will also be sharing even more during the month so stay tuned! Everything is so cute, it's hard to stop making and creating! You can see the entire new release HERE, and of course I've linked up all of the stamps and dienamics that I've used on today's projects!
I'm a huge fan of the Pure Innocence line for MFT and this new Sassy Skater is just as sweet as can be! I colored her in cool, wintery hues and then die cut the image using the Sassy Skater Dienamics. I set that aside to work on the background.
I die cut the snowdrifts using the new Snowy Hillside Dienamics and stamped the "I Love You. You're Welcome." sentiment using black ink. I think this will be perfect for my 16 year old daughter! LOL!
I added some Tinsel Glitter to the hillside using a 2 way glue pen. It gives it the perfect icy feel that is perfect for a card like this!
I did some ink blending using Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink around the perimeter of a 4 by 5 1/ 4 inch piece of cardstock. I added some of the beautiful new snowflakes from the Serene Snowflakes Stamp Set in white (it's hard to see in the photos), and the other two inks I used for the background. I also added some white paint splatter for an even snowier feel!
I spritzed the entire thing with Shimmer Spray for some added sparkle and shine!
I used lots of foam squares to give this card some dimension and detail! I had so much fun on this card!
Up next is a fun card using the new Polar Penguins stamp set as well as the new Simple Snowflakes Background. To begin, I stamped the background using Versamark ink and then added some glittery embossing powder over the top. I love the way it shimmers in the light, but it is hard to show in a photograph.
This particular card uses the MFT sketch challenge that is going on now. It is so perfect to showcase these sweet little penguins.
I stamped the penguins using black ink and then colored them with an assortment of alcohol markers. I chose two penguins that would bring in a lot of color.
Once they were all colored, I die cut them using the Polar Penguins Dienamics and set them aside with the background.
I used the same Snowy Hillside Dienamic and glitter to enhance the detail of this card as well. It probably strays from the sketch a bit, but I just couldn't resist! The sentiment is heat embossed in silver and is one of the 3 included sentiments in the set. I added a few clear dew drops for additional detail and shine. I had a lot of fun working on this design as well! Like I mentioned, I'll be sharing even more using these fun new sets, so stay tuned!
Love both cards! Tinsel glitter you say... I need this for my Christmas trees (the one on my cards, of course)!
