Up first, is this card made using the new, absolutely adorable, set called "Sealiously"! I'm so in love! To begin, I used the new "Stitched Rays" cover panel and die cut it using a piece of the new "Fun Times" pattern paper. I loved the moody blue tone that it gives this card. The seal, clouds, and rain drops are all stamped onto a piece of Premier Polar White cardstock and then die cut using the coordinating "Sealiously" confetti cuts. I colored the images using Copic Markers. I also splattered some Seafoam Ink that I had mixed with water onto the clouds and white "dashed line" tag. It gave it just the right rainy look I was hoping for. The "under the weather" sentiment is heat embossed in white onto a strip of Midnight cardstock.
I made this to go on the inside of the card, but after it was made, I thought it was a great CAS design, so I decided to show it on its own. It could be a great quick and simple card! I did adhere it onto the inside of my card later. I've listed pictures of all of the new products that I have used and they will be available for purchase on the 8th! Scroll down for my SECOND project!
The treat box is made using Midnight cardstock and the new "fun times" paper pad. The tag is from the new "stitched lines tag" and is the perfect size. I colored and cut all of the images using the coordinating "Honey Bear" Confetti Cuts.
This little tag was the perfect excuse to use another one of the cute sentiments.
I love all of the versatility that this new set has. I didn't even get into the darling honey pot and bee theme that you can also use with this set! Just wait! LOL!
I created this gift card holder by positioning the bears and pile of apples strategically with foam squares so that it could slide down easily. I had so much fun creating this project and I hope that my son's teacher likes it! Join me again tomorrow for the next Countdown to Confetti Sneak Peek!
