I have this habit of cleaning off all of the papers from the front of my fridge whenever I am expecting company. I would prefer it to always be clean, but with 5 kids there is always a reminder or flyer to keep track of. Well...I was going through the pile of things that I recently removed and discovered a graduation announcement that I had forgotten about. Woops! I really like this new set in the Petite Places series, so much so, that when I ordered everything, I inadvertently ordered TWO of the camper/car die sets. That is where one of you lucky readers will gain from my mistake! I would love to send it to one of my fabulous blog readers (U.S. only, sorry). So...simply leave a comment with your favorite destination to have an adventure and I will randomly draw on Saturday to see who is the winner!
I thought these fun new products would make a fun graduation card. I don't think the recipient is much of a camper, but who can resist all of these tiny goodies? Right? I did put together a birthday set the other day for a friend who had a surprise Smore's birthday party. It was perfect! I just wish I would have had time to photograph everything to share with you.
Everything is really straightforward with this design. I used the Summer Camp pattern paper which works nicely with these dies and stamps. Thanks for fluttering by and I can't wait to see who is the WINNER!
What a fantastic job you did once again! I am in Canada so can't take part in your blog candy but had to tell you I think this card is brilliant! Am working on a wedding card with the same idea. I'm making an ornament with the PTI petite places church, then making a matching card, so wanted to put the round die in the middle of the card. Glad to see this - you must have read my mind!
ReplyDeleteomg - sooooo cute!! I love the camping stuff . .. which I've seen with several companies . . .but not the mountains!!! I'm going to have to check these out!!
ReplyDeleteOur favorite place is Lake Tahoe; it's gorgeous, GREAT campground on the north shore, that we love; and it's only an hour and a half from us! (Sacramento area) . .. can't beat that!!
Hope you get at least a short "get away" yourself, Kelly! Thanks for the adorable inspiration!
Wow! What a beautiful card!!! Loving the adorable camping dies!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place to go on adventures are The Outer Banks of North Carolina! So much beauty, history and so many fun places to exp!ore!

ReplyDeleteJust returned from a trip to California. Love this set and have not seen it used before.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous grad card! It's perfectly unique!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite road trip destination is Grand Marais, MN. It's beautiful!
Anyplace that has mountains...love the mountains!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card...the grad is going to be so surprised with it! What a great sentiment to send. I have been known to do the double buying as well. Luckily I have a friend who does the same and we just exchange our extras. My favorite adventure destination is anywhere getting lost. When the kids and I get lost, we take advantage of it and get to see things we would never see. It can be on a hiking trail, out on a lake in the canoes or driving somewhere. I don't have the best sense of direction, but we have had some great adventures because of it!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place is northern Minnesota....almost Canadian border area.... awesome job as always on your card...love your details....
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card! Perfect papers, I love those petite places, but haven't had a chance to invest in any yet. We rarely go to the same place on vacation, but my favorites have been Sweden or Prince Edward Island/Nova Scotia. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteLovely card! You are so creative! My favorite place is favorite only because we go with our best friends in the world! The kids met in kindergarten and our families have grown up together, we go to Long Lake in Waupaca WI for one week each summer! Lots of pine trees, nature, boating fun, sleeping in the fresh air, tennis, swimming, and campfires!
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful, esp. the teal paper! I love those little dies. I like going to Watch Hill, RI to the beach there. It's so pretty.

ReplyDeleteWith five kids I don't know how you have time to craft (or clean off your fridge)!
ReplyDeleteThis card is fabulous and that set has been on my wish list. Thanks for the prize chance.
Super cute! Those patterned papers work perfectly with Happy Camper. I love Europe, but it's been many many years since I've been there. We always go visit my family on vacation. lol Someday I'll get back!
ReplyDeleteI love your creative ideas. My favorite destination is Sacramento, CA because my grandchildren are there!
