I didn't have a circle that I wanted to use for the main panel, so I opted to use some of my new Nestabilites I purchased from Treehouse Stamps! Ashley was so cute and threw in a fun fishy stamp set that I can't wait to play with! You can find Treehouse Stamps here: http://www.treehousestamps.com/ I turned the oval on it's side so that it could house two hearts nicely. I also added a fun little sentiment to combine the two hearts. Because this isn't a Valentine's card necessarily, I chose the "Embrace Happiness" sentiment that I thought worked well with the saying on the bottom. Everything is sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink by Ranger.
The ribbon is some of the fun satin ribbon I picked up at Target. It is part of their "Club Wed" line and can be found on the Wedding Aisle. I purchased every color they have available, so I will be trying to find ways to work them into my designs. It shouldn't be hard since they are so fab! The one thing that I should probably stop buying is ribbon! It is such a weakness for me. I also had to added a "cross my heart" threaded button like I did on last Friday's post. Again, I had a lot of fun making this design. This will also be going into the stash for my friend. That is one reason why I steered away from a true Valentine design, so she could use it for anything. I stopped by the post office to pick up some postage stamps for her also. I will include all of the extra postage it requires to send these bulky cards. Her box is getting quite full and I am excited to give them to her. I have a few fun projects I will be sharing in the next few days. Thanks for fluttering by!
