Hello friends! I'm so happy to be here today sharing some fun and festive products from The Greetery! This week's suite is called Novelties & Nativities from the District Twelve 25 Collection! I had so much fun working up these fun new Market Tote projects using both the larger and mini size; they are perfect for holiday treats, gift cards, and more! Make sure to head to The Greetery Blog for the official "meet and greet" for each of today's featured products, and as always, leave a comment here, and on each of the other designers' blogs for a chance to win one of two product bundles!
This picture shows the comparison between the mini and regular size Market Tote. The sentiments on the two larger ones are from the Simle Holiday Sentiments Stamp Set and then cut with the Shortbread Shapes: Rectangle Labels Die so that gives you an idea of the scale and size of these totes.
These are by far the easiest 3D projects I have put together; they come together in a snap and look so cute once they're all finished! The larger Market Tote includes dies to add the stitched details and the little oval portions underneath the bows.
The mini version has the same stitched detail dies, but not the little oval portions. It's not hard to add these details; simply place the die over the areas you want to add detail and secure the die with low-tack or washi tape and run it back through your die cut machine. So quick and easy, but makes such a sweet difference in the finished look!

So quick and easy, but makes such a sweet difference in the finished look!
I made 4 of the larger size using a simple color combination; I always like picking a combo and then working within it for quick work; it takes away the second-guessing! My color scheme is Pinefeather, Pure Poppy, Lovely Lady, and Stormy Sea. I mentioned in my post last week that I had made a few swags using the Bow-tique Holiday Stamp Set but didn't get a chance to use them. I thought they looked so cute draped across the totes, so that was the springboard for this project. The stitching details made me think of Noel Needleworks, so I made a few quilt blocks using the Quilt Block Builder Stamp Set to accent the totes.
The ones that say something about treats, will be filled with my homemade caramels and the ones that talk about "Homemade" will most likely get filled with some handmade handwarmers like I made last year, which you can see in the photo below and can be found at the bottom of THIS post.
I added some peppermints to the centers of the bows using the Mint and Berry Bits and then secured them with little pieces of foam tape.
I heat embossed each of the sentiments in gold for a bit of sophistication and shine!
You can see the cutout details under the handles on this one!
I had a bunch of these little embossed quilt squares from my Cozy card from THIS post, so I used them on these smaller version with some sprigs included in the Berry Bouquet Builder Die and then a tag from the Teeny Tags Stamp Set. I had so much fun creating these and know this is just the beginning!
My next project features the new Capsule Nativity Die and I just love it! I always appreciate products that depict the Savior for Christmas, since HE IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!
I stepped out of my normal color comfort zone and tried something a bit different. I mentioned in last week's post that I'm obsessed with the gold pigment ink over embossing, so this time I tried it over the navy and teal and I'm just as much in love!
This card also features a Teeny Tag; Jesus is a gift to each one of us! And then the sentiment at the bottom is from the new Laid Back Holiday Stamp/Die set.
I added some embossed details to the top and bottom of the scene by embossing antique gold cardstock with the Capsule Quilt Shop Die and Capsule Quilt Shop Embossing Folder.
Everything will be available for purchase tomorrow at 10 am EDT! Don't forget to leave a comment here, and on each of the designers' blogs for a chance to be eligible to win one of two product bundles! Thanks for fluttering by!
