Reverse Confetti Fall-idays {Harvest Blessings}

Happy Fall-idays, Friends! I'm so excited to be sharing some fun Reverse Confetti Thanksgiving/Harvest/Gratitude inspired projects with you today! The entire team is serving up some fresh inspiration for the upcoming holidays so head to their blogs to see what they have to share!

Kelly Lunceford (you are here)

I follow quite a few home decorating accounts on Instagram and I am smitten with all of the neutral Autumn decor that has been so popular the last few years. I decided to make something a little unexpected for Autumn, but keeping up with some of today's trends.

I created 3 gift/treat boxes and 3 coordinating cards, with the addition of a regular A2 sized card that I will share a little later in the post. The dimensions for the boxes were tailored around the measurements of the Pattern Blocks Confetti Cut. I simply measured it and then scored my paper to make sure it would fit. It is quite a large box, but I wanted it to fit a notepad and pen, as well as a Hershey's chocolate bar. I found some super cute woodgrain ballpoint pens and Gratitude inspired notepads that totally fit my theme at the Dollar Tree.

I heat embossed the leaves from the Fall Foliage Stamp set in gold and then used a trio of green Copic markers to color in the leaves. Once they were all colored, I die cut them with the coordinating Fall Foliage Confetti Cuts.

I picked this particular leaf pattern because I wanted to create a wreath and this one had the perfect curvature to fit onto the box. I arranged them using foam squares. Once they were all arranged, I added the gold embossed "Harvest Blessings" sentiment over the top. I also added some Gold Nuvo drops to accent the wreath. The entire piece was spritzed using Shimmer Spray. I wish you could see how sparkly and pretty it looks in real life! You can see the flecks on the black paper, but in real life is is just a sea of sparkles rather than flecks!

I thought it would be fun to try and incorporate a few more of the larger leaves onto a wreath card as well. I did the same thing with this card as I did on the box, but instead of coloring the "berry sprig" image, I just embossed it and then added clear Nuvo drops to mimic some actual berries.

I used the Stitched Rays Coverpanel for the background of this card rather than the one I used on the boxes. I really like how this particular coverplate gave me a perfect circle to line my wreath up with.
I also created a trio of coordinating mini cards to go along with the Harvest boxes. I was having too much fun and just didn't want to stop! I also wanted to use each of the three beautiful sentiments in the Fall Foliage set. These will complement the boxes nicely and add in some additional shape and texture.

I was able to incorporate enough of the same elements as the boxes, but bring in some of the additional leaves for added interest.
I put all of the gifts into cello bags and tied them up with black and white gingham ribbon for that added trendy look. I think it adds just the right touch for the look I was going for.

Please join me again tomorrow with some other fun projects that I have been working on! Also, don't forget to head to the other designer's blogs to see what they have up their sleeves! I'm sure it is amazing! Thanks for fluttering by!
