SugarPea Designs Release Week:Off the Charts

Welcome back for day two of the latest SugarPea Designs release! Today we are showcasing the unique and inventive Off The Charts stamp set! I just love all of the possibilities with this set!

When I was brainstorming ideas for today's design, I just couldn't get the idea of a folder with charts of some kind; medical, work related, etc. so that was my jumping point! I created my own little folder by scoring and cutting a piece of Kraft cardstock. I only inked up the "chart" portion of the sentiment in gray ink and stamped it onto the "label" tab of the folder. This would be a fun way to add a gift card into your design, especially for Christmas or a birthday card as I am showing you today.

Once the folder was created and I felt was believable, I got to work creating the chart. I used my MISTI for the grid portion, which was a lifesaver! The colorful stamped strips are attached to the chart with adhesive and I chose to use them in the exact order as they are adhered to the stamp backing. They look nice in their different levels for a staggered look.

I attached the completed chart to the folder with a tiny little silver clip to enhance the office vibe. I also used a piece of grid paper from the Sugar and Spice pattern paper pad. It is the perfect backdrop to add into the chart feel. I stamped the "May your birthday be" in gray ink directly onto the patter paper. The "off the charts" sentiment is heat embossed onto a strip of white for some added shine and to repeat the shiny silver of the clip. I can't wait to use this set in lots of other different ways! Thanks for fluttering by! You can stop by the rest of the team's blogs:
