The Greetery's Merry Makings Release Day

Welcome friends! It's the day you've been waiting for...the Merry makings release from The Greetery is available for purchase beginning at 10 am ET! Thank you SO much for ALL of your super sweet comments over the past three days! You are so nice and I appreciate them all!

I have a bonus card to share with you today using the fabulous Banner and Bough stamp/stencil combo! I love how fast and easy it is to put  this beautiful image together! I especially love the vintage sentiments that fit perfectly onto the banner!

I used Distress Oxide inks for all of the steps: The banner was made using Speckled Egg and Stormy Sky for a little bit of shading, the flowers are Festive Berries and Barn Door, the foliage is Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn, and the berries are Worn Lipstick, BUT they turned purple because I didn't clean my stencil well enough from the last card (woops) and finally, the pine image is stamped in Evergreen Bough.

I added a touch of Evergreen Bough ink splatter for the slightest hint of added detail as well as some glitter for holiday sparkle! I mounted the entire panel onto a top folding A2 card base using foam squares for some dimension since this is a flat panel. I also added some jewels to the centers of the flowers for added detail. Such a quick and easy combination of products! Thanks for fluttering by!

  3. Hi Kelly! You spoil us! I find myself heading over to your blog after release week is over because so many times you’ve treated us to an extra card. I couldn’t agree more, Betsy made the Banner & Bough so easy. This is the main set I’m ordering for some of my cards this season. Thanks for a fun week! I mentioned to Betsy, it was like a face-lift for the soul. Happy weekend! πŸ˜ŽπŸ’–
