Hello and welcome, friends! Today is the Pinkfresh Studio June 2020 Pop Out Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop! I've had so much fun working on the projects to share with you today! There's so much to love about this fabulous release! Make sure you leave a comment here for a chance to be eligible to win a $25 gift certificate to the Pinkfresh Studio store!
Pinkfresh Studio will be giving away the ENTIRE release to a lucky winner on their Instagram page, Facebook page and You Tube Channel! All winners will be posted on June 19th and you have two weeks to claim your prize!
You'll want to get cozy and head to the other designers' blogs to see how they've used these fabulous new products!
My first two cards feature the AMAZING new Pop Out Diamonds Cling Stamp and the coordinating Simply Diamonds Die. This sweet set also has a mini coordinating die set called Diamond Floral Bunches die collection. This allows you to die cut each of the individual floral stems like I've used on these two cards!
These cards use a lot of inkblending using the fabulous Pinkfresh Studio Ink Pads. I absolutely love the beautiful shades of ink! I die cut the white background using the Simply Diamonds Die and carefully removed the inside pieces so that I could easily put them back into their correct place. I stamped the black outline using the Pop Out Diamonds Cling stamp set using my MISTI. I adhered these panels to top folding A2 card bases using foam strips. Once that was done, I got to work adding the ink blending to each of the cut out diamonds. I used liquid glue to add them back into their place to create the background!
Once that was done, I stamped each of the different floral sprays using markers so that I could add the green to the stems and the different color to the blooms. I used the coordinating Diamond Floral Bunches dies to cut them out. I popped them up onto the different colored diamonds using foam squares.
The "happy birthday" sentiment is one of the many that are included in the set. I heat embossed it in white onto black cardstock and then die cut them using one of the smallest Fancy Label Frames dies.
And the bows...of course I had to add some bows! I'm head-over-heels in love with them and will find any excuse to use them! These were created using the Artistic Bows dies and then some coordinating ink blending to match the colored diamonds. I also added some ink splatter for some extra detail.
I added the sentiments using foam squares and then the bows are adhered using hot glue. I also added some matching Essentials Jewels here and there for some sparkle and shine. Both cards are spritzed with a spritz or two of Shimmer Spray as well!
My next two cards feature the new Pop Out Sunburst Die which is SO much fun! To begin both of these cards, I heat embossed the Abstract Cube background stamp onto two panels of white cardstock using white embossing powder. I die cut them using the Sunburst die and carefully removed the pieces so that I could keep them in the right order. It was even more important for me to keep these separated, especially since both backgrounds weren't stamped exactly in the same place, if that makes sense. I wanted the pattern to line up correctly when the pieces were placed back into the white outline.
I turned on the music and had so much fun adding inkblending over the top using all of the fabulous shades of yellow/orange/peach! Some pieces are placed inside the negative space using liquid glue and some are popped up using foam squares for a fun and whimsical look!
I really love how nice and crisp the white embossing looks against these gorgeous shades of ink! My next step was to get the letters all ready for the card. I had so much fun making some spring cards using alphabet dies that you can see HERE, so I thought it would be fun to make a couple of summer versions as well!
I die cut the letters using the fabulous Adore Alpha die set, which I've used quite a bit lately. Bows and alphas....can't seem to stop! LOL! Once they were all cut, I added some inkblending using 3 shades of blue ink. I love the cool tones paired with the warm yellows. I've used this color combination on other sunny cards in years past and it's one of my favorites!
I had some fun playing around with the arrangement of the letters. This one uses a staggered approach similar to my spring card!
I also decided to lay these letters out in two lines. I toyed around with 3 lines, but the two Ms close to each other created some spacing issues!
I used foam squares to adhere the letters to both cards, making sure to take into consideration some of the sun rays that are popped up and the ones that are not.
I found some cute sentiments in the Simply Sentiments Hello stamp set that go nicely with the SUMMER word, but also make sense to give to a friend or loved one!
Both sentiments are heat embossed in white onto black cardstock. For this card, I chose to keep it small and just tuck it over the M using a notch at either end. I have some black foam squares that come in handy for times like this!
I had some fun adding a few sparkling clear sequins here and there on the card. I am actually quite shocked I didn't use any jewels! LOL!
This sentiment is a little bit thicker, so I gave it a handtrimmed edge and added it between the rows of letters using black foam squares as well. I had so much fun on each of these cards today! I hope you've enjoyed these colorful designs! Thanks for fluttering by!
