First up is a gorgeous new set called The Best Days stamp set that I used to create two cards for today's countdown. To begin, I stamped the bouquet image twice and colored it using Copic markers. I also added some Wink of Stella over the leaves and blooms for some shimmer, which I just love on cards like this!
Once the images were colored,I die cut them using the coordinating The Best Days Confetti Cuts and set them aside while I got to work on the background. I used the AMAZING new Stitched Bursts Cover Panel on two pieces of 4 by 5 1/4 inch white cardstock. This is one of those "must-haves" in my opinion! It is amazing and you will be seeing lots more of it this week! LOL!
The sentiment is heat embossed in silver onto a strip of black cardstock. I layered it over the bouquet and the bouquets are layered on top of pieces cut from the new Circle Tag Confetti Cut that I arranged in a "non tag-like" way! LOL!
Once that was done, I added some sequins here and there for some added shine!
Next up is a new set called Beautiful Memories stamp set. I paired it with the new Winter Wonder 6 by 6 Paper Pad to complement the Bluebell images in this new set!
I used the lovely new Snow Stars Cover Panel for the background, but dry embossed it rather than die cut it for a soft look. The flowers are die cut using the Beautiful Memories Confetti Cuts and then added to the card using foam squares. I used the same off set tag configuration on this card as well, but don't worry, I'll be showing the tag as a tag soon! LOL!
You won't want to miss what the other designers have come up with so make sure to head to their blogs! Thanks for fluttering by!
