Baby Birdie Thanks

I have been busy nesting and getting things ready to welcome baby into the world. I am so excited!!!! I thought it might be prudent to get a few Thank You cards made before I am busy with a newborn and too tired to think straight. I put this together the other night as a possible pro-type to mass produce. I was inspired by the patterns and textures based off of the quilt I finished as well. I will be sharing it here when I get it photographed. I will let you know when I get it posted. Also, for those of you who are interested, I added my final baby project that I gave to my SIL which you can see here. I had promised to share it and had to do a quick photo shoot on Christmas Eve before we headed out the door. I was relieved to see that the photos turned out bright enough when I uploaded them to my computer.

For those of you who have been around for a while and know me, know how much I love birds and nests, especially for babies and weddings. I couldn't resist using this fabulous "Birds and Nests" set from Cavallini Papers & Co. that I picked up at a local Stationery shop a few years ago. Also, I realized that I ommitted Papertrey Ink from my watermark on my photographs.

I used Damask Designs for the background on the brown panel. This design should be quite easy to mass produce, especially since I used so many punches and only one color of ink. I think the eggs might need a smidgen of color to really tie it all together, but we will see.

Also, we have been having the hardest time trying to pick a name for our little guy. If any of you have some fabulous "R" names, I would love for you to leave me a comment letting me know. If we pick the name you leave, I am sure some fun blog candy will be coming your way! LOL!
I am off to start another sewing project! Thanks for fluttering by!

I love your thank you cards! I think that a hint of blue on the eggs would be very nice. Robb and Robert are great names. I also love Ryan but it is more common.

Best wishes for a healthy, happy son.

I have a R name for you. How about Ryder. I have always loved that name for a little boy. It sounds soo rugged.

I also think Rocklin is a big strong name.

Little boys are the best.. Congrats to you and cherish every moment.

I LOVE Ryan, and liked if for a boy or a girl until my neighbor used it, so it was off the table for us! I know a little Ryden- his parents made it up, so should be less common!
This is a gorgeous card! I adore that color combo!
Happy almost new year!

Another beautiful card - especially for baby thanks.

I like the name Rory for a boy and that's what our Felicity would have been called if a boy! I hope all goes well for you in the coming weeks - such an exciting time!

First I love you new Header. It is wonderful. "R" names for boys..... Ryan, Raymond, Randolff. I don't know it is a hard thing to do naming your child. I had a hard time with my 3 children and I just thought of names that couldn't be made into a nickm=name that they would be teased about when they were young but a strong name for when they are an adult in the business world if that is where life takes them. Good Luck.

I am partial to name Robert because that is my son's name. It is easy to make formal using Robert, and yet there are so many nicknames you could also use. He still goes by Bobby and he is almost 21 years old. The only one he is not fond of is Robbie because an English teacher is H.S. insisted on calling him that! We chose Robert because it is my Dad's name, with Bob being his nickname. Although he was called Little Bobby in his younger days!
We used Weston for our son's middle name because it was his Dad's middle name. I just liked the way Robert Weston sounded, so it was an easy choice for us.
No matter what name you choose, it will be perfect for him. Cannot wait to hear what you choose.

Love the TY note, Kelly! And I love that you're nesting, only a couple of weeks to go!

I have to laugh about the "R" names, because we just happen to be watching A Christmas Story, whose main character happens to be: Ralphie! How about Rafe or Rourke?

My 17 year old son's name is Rogan James. It's a viking name meaning "having red hair". My Rogan doesn't have red hair but I don't think it matters. And he's a really great kid!

Great card, and as you're so into nesting at the moment how about Robin!!? I also like Rory, which can be a shortened version of the Irish name Riordan.

Here's another 'R' name for you...Remington. I have a friend and her that is her sons name. She calls him 'Rem' for a shorter version! Good luck.

Such a gorgeous card. I have that stamp set too and the images are wonderfully vintage.

R names...hmmm, my favorites are a little different, but I have always loved the names Rene or Ross. Some other ideas: Royce, Reece, Redmond, or Reilly.

All the best to you and your family as your newest member joins you!!

I love this card it's absolutely gorgeous!

Now for the names:
Rafael, Ramon, Rene, Rey, Ricardo, Roberto, Rocco, Roger, Rodney, Roland or Rolando, Roman, Roy, Ruben, Russell, and Rupert.

I tried to stay away from the already suggested names, but I guess I overlapped a few--alot of O endings--can't help it I'm Mexican. =)

Best of luck and congratulations!

I love ALL your cards. I visit your blog often but rarely leave comments which I should definitely start doing. Some "R" names I like are Ross, Rowan, Rylan, Reid, Reagan (as in Ronald), Ryker, Rhys/Reece. Have fun deciding on a name and all the best with the delivery of your new bundle of boy!! ;^)

LOVE your bird card, as well as the newer one you just posted. It's my fave. Thanks for enabling...now I HAVE to have this stamp set and already called my LSS to hold one for me!

Have you decided on a name for baby "R"? I like Reagan, but have to say that I cannot even say the name Rory - it's the 2 R's! I can't say rural, either. So please don't use that one, lol! 'Cause of course it's all about me, someone you don't even know!

Whatever you decide, I hope he is healthy and beautiful!

Best wishes, Jackie
